Top five pseudo-lovable dinosaurs:

Ankylosaurus - world's biggest pet store tortoise
Triceratops - hook 'em, horns! Prehistoric moo-cows.
Brachiosaurus/Brontosaurus/Diplodocus - longnecks ain't just for drinkin'! Movie lean-downs are almost cliché.
Struthiomimus - Big Bird.
Hadrosaurs - QUACK.

Of course, these were all probably about as friendly and safe as American bison, but still - let the little kids live in their Dinotopias.

This list has the William S. Burroughs seal of approval!

(It also reminds me that everybody wants to control the molecules that let you see around the edge of the universe - whether its the shamans who want you to go there safely, or the anti-shamans who don't want you to go there at all.)

BONUS:

"Being an Evil Overlord seems to be a good career choice. It pays well, there are all sorts of perks and you can set your own hours. However every Evil Overlord I've read about in books or seen in movies invariably gets overthrown and destroyed in the end. I've noticed that no matter whether they are barbarian lords, deranged wizards, mad scientists or alien invaders, they always seem to make the same basic mistakes every single time. With that in mind, allow me to present...

hednic, did you see any of those in their natural habitats? Or in zoos? I have a passion for seeing wildlife in the wild: I cannot tell you how stunning to me... it is to witness interesting animals living in their always-wise ways.

Wow, that is wonderful. My BF actually grew up in Tasmania and he and his brother used to catch Platypuses and play with them... not ever aware they were poisonous (they were never stung). Apparently, they are quite docile, how odd.
