Did they discontinue Rive Gauche pour Homme?

The basenotes directory lists it as "in production":

However, for YSL, it's like it never existed:

Thank you. Didn't know. Anyway, I believe it's bad news. It's not available on all countries, and seems difficult to find. Moreover, it seems all this collection is reformulated... how will the new RG compare to the original version?

You might be able to find some straggling bottles still available online, but not sure.

It's all over Amazon

Wait, so was Rive Gauche Pour Homme changed somehow, or is it still the same fragrance in different packaging? This is the first I've heard of this...

Rive Gauche is pretty easily available at any Canadian Walmart. Reasonably priced as well!

I think both Rive Gauche pour homme, M7 have been discontinued in favor of the new watered down YSL collection series because I don't see any of them listed on the website.

Yep, I just blind bought RG a week ago online and wore it for the first time yesterday. All I have to say is WOW! This stuff not only smells great, but lasts forever. Put three sprays on yesterday afternoon around 2'ish and I still smelt in on me this evening just before I was about to take a shower.
I've fallen in love with RG, truly love at first sniff.
Oh and this is not an 'old man' smell at all. More a mature scent for the 21st Century.

It's readily available via online retailers here in the UK, hence I may have to stock-up!

Why don´t the perfume houses communicate any more with their loyal customers ?
.....further evidence of the terrible direction this planet is taking.

^ agreed!

Hi there, I'm trying to identify the original version in a can vs the new one in a bottle and can't tell the difference online. Are the colour schemes the same?
The Tin Can version is still pretty readily available in UK (£30.00 for 125ml) but it is starting to become less available every week. Cheapsmells, for example, no longer have it. I have stocked up ;-)

Am I right in thinking that the new one comes in a small square bottle?

Hm, Cheapsmells is advertising Rive Gauche pour Homme 'Collection'... Not sure which one I should be looking for.
