Oils you should try to find in Morocco?

I have a friend who is going to Morocco on Friday and has volunteers to try to find me anything I may want found. Casablanca is her destination. That being the case, are there any particular oils that I might send her in search of? I'm particularly in favor of the animalic and the patchoulialic and the pepperialic and the like ... Thanks!

Yes but only if she was actually visiting the Middle East.

Morocco is in Africa (North Africa).

d'oh! Oh well, Africa is still good for Frankincense oils. If I remember correctly, Somalian Frankincense is one of the best in the world.

There is really not much in Morocco in he way of oils. The vast majority of oils sold there are either cheap knockoffs of western perfumes, or exceedingly cheap oud and sandalwood oils.

Argan oil (roasted) for cooking. Absolutely delicious and exclusive to Morocco. Be sure to get the organic version made by women's cooperatives, not the factory quality stuff.
There is excellent organic quality neroli and rose oil from Morrocco, besides many other Mediterranean oils. Check my blog post:

I totally forgot about Morocco's Rose Oils. You should be looking for rose oil from Kellat M'Gouna specifically, as this is where the roses are grown and where the annual rose festival is held. Phenominal Stuff.

Argan oil is also said to be great for skin. Oh, and definitely look for rose; theirs is justly famous.

Excellent for the skin. Found in many of the skin creams and lotions sold there.

Bump! I thought I should put my two (s)cents in, although the OP's friend will probably have returned from Morocco long ago already:
I bought a few perfumes in Marrakesh at one of those little perfume shops with the wonderful bottles, where they mix them to your liking. They had knockoffs of many designer fragrances and, surprisingly, of a few Tom Ford private blend ones. I bought the Tobacco Vanille and the Tuscan Leather ones. Today I am testing the original TL and the fake side by side, and the similarity is a-ma-zing. The original is a tad smokier and the fake a little fruitier, but also stronger.
It's really funny.
