Help me find a new scent?

Hello!

Wearing fragnances is something quite new to me, and so far I've mainly done it in the winter - the wind seems to wipe away everything rather fast when cycling through the city with not much protective clothing on.
But since it's november again and the snowy times here aren't far away anymore, I was hoping to get some recommendations for my next visit to the perfume store. There are so far three that I've really liked, namely Gucci Pour Homme I and II and Baldessarini Ambre, in that exact order. I once found Incense Avignon by Commes des Garcons quite magnificent while in London. I have been constantly trying out many others, but haven't found anything remotely likeable. I should say, I don't have a huge selection where I live, but all the major brands seem to be represented quite well.

Many thanks for your thoughts,
Sebastian

Perhaps Burberry London might be to your liking.

Terre d'Hermes might also be worth testing

agree ...

Terre d'Hermes - The opening of this very unique fragrance treats one to a mild splatter of sparkling, dry grapefruit and orange, with a metallic, clean flavor lightly dancing in that citrus duet. This wonderful opening expertly transitions into its evocative heart, where a slightly peppery and arid cedar, with a wiff of pachouli, and a flickering of something floral begins to simmer. This earthy woodiness is masterfully blended with the warm sweetness of benzoin, and flashes of bitterness from the vetiver, to form its satisfying, outdoorsy base. This sophisticated and distinctive fragrance should be a welcomed addition to one's repertoire. It's an all-season EDT, and has excellent projection and longevity.

So I just managed to get a Burberry London tester through an eyewear store, but I do believe it's the women's version. Not that it's important information in any way.
Before I'll be heading to sniff some perfumes and coffee beans, is there something that has a strong incense note to it? Similar to the Commes des Garcons I mentioned.
And I do hope they sell d'Hermes here somewhere. Armani Code is an interesting suggestion, I've had some contact with it in the past and I can't really remember much about it. But perhaps it'll be a surpriser.

Michael Kors for men
Davidoff Zino
Commes des Garcons Man 2
Azzaro PH

To mention just a few.
These are all way better imo than Armani Code for fall/winter!
