Is la unit worth having if you already have l'homme

I have l'homme and like la unit also and am wondering if they are different enough to buy both?

they back each other up more as a backup bottle. one more suitable for nights out while the other is more versatile. if you have l'homme la nuit may not be necessary rather than vice versa.

Difinitely worth owning both.

That made me chuckle.
I agree. I find L'Homme to be boring and short-lived, and La Nuit to be oppressively loud and sweet.

As for the OP's question, I think they are different enough from each other.

No! Don't buy it

Yes, I think these are two really well done fragrances that may be a victim of their own popularity. I do find myself reaching for L'Homme in more situations throughout the year, but La Nuit is really great for cold weather.

Theyre different and La Nuit de Lhomme is better

This. Both very different. La Nuit is far better IMO.

I'm slowly warming up to Libre. It's an interesting scent - and it's REALLY different from the others. I'm finally getting the similarity to Fahrenheit (violet leaf?) that everybody who likes Libre keeps mentioning. But in any case, if you're in the market for a L'Homme that's truly different, Libre is it.

Also La Nuit de L'Homme Le Parfum - very different. The concentration really accentuates the difference from the original.

La Nuit is worth owning, L'Homme, meh. Though, I personally own both. I have 3 backup bottles of La Nuit, no backup bottles of L'Homme.
I think that speaks wonders as to which one I prefer/wear more often.

La Nuit is the better of the two IMO. L'Homme never sticks out in my mind while I distinctly know what La Nuit smells like. I don't get the complaints that it is too sweet, I don't find it that particularly sweet. It doesn't smell all the unique or appealing on paper or when I sniff it directly but, the sillage it leaves is easily one of my favorites of any scent I have.

Oooh sounds interesting - I better try Libre then!
