Is azzaro chrome/pour homme a good choice for winter?
I would suggest you buy the one which smells the best to you :-).

Its kinda a blind buy thats why i do this.
I strongly prefer London which is more modern and doesnt have strange top notes as Zino.
If you can get them cheaply, both, since they are both excellent for winter wear

zino

Both without thinking If you can get your hands on Zino then take Zino! Burberry London is realtively new scent and it'll be around to buy...for now...

Guarenteed you will dislike Zino then. ( I love it, by the way).

I'd really need to know more about your fragrance tastes and what you have bought/enjoy before giving you a recommendation.

Zino is nice if ya wanna smell like manure. I would go with London, if ya actually wanna smell good.

Zino
Both are good scents and great for the cooler weather, but that is where the comparison stops. Zino is a heavier, more mature scent and I believe has been discontinued, so get it while you can if you want to go that route. London will be around for a while.
London is easier to like and projects better.
I much prefer zino.

London is good for "newbies," at least relative to Zino. With Zino, you'll get a "dirty," sharp, somewhat "sour," floral opening, with a nice incense/sandalwood type of note in the base. Most newbies can't take the opening of Zino, and I still can't deal with it on some days (I really have to be in the mood). London is too "synthetic" for me, but as a newbie that didn't register with me. However, I find the drydown of London to be too simple and weak, unlike Zino's, which is rich, complex, and strong. I think a newbie would be better off with something like Tobaco Latino if he wants a tobacco frag that's not too "old school," especially if he doesn't want to smell like a lot of other people.

Im leaning towards London but im afraid i wont like it cuz its a blind buy,is it even possible to not like london?
Yes, any smell can be disliked in my experience.
Personally I really like London, whatever that says about me. I find a spice like smell, full of warmth and cozyness.

It's very, very, very similiar to CK One Shock! if you have that somewhere to sample. Shock! is a whee bit sweeter I think.

Both of these again sort of remind me of YSL's La Homme La Nuit (I know I misspelled that).

I love London to death actually, it's a really nice smell.

Some people here dislike it because it's "easy", its probably a bit synthetic and it could last longer on the skinn.

But in the end, a lot of people, me included, will find the smell nice. And in the end, isn't that the point of it all?

How does it project and how much does it last?

I have no idea I'm afraid as I had to scrub it after 15 minutes

Really? Wow.

Anyway, I'd say plenty projection (as in, it's not 1 million and it shouldn't be either, but enough for people to smell when they're close enough). London lasts okay on my skin, I can still feel its presence after a day at work but it's not outstanding like others.

Honestly though, try to buy a sample online if you're this unsure. It's cheaper in the long run to buy samples and try these things for yourself .

Yes, I thought it was a cheap and nasty, brash, oversweet chemical toilet of a stinker. Oh well, no-one likes everything

Nyo from the frags u used what was the longest lasting(a few)?
Longest lasting alone as a critera is a very bad cirteria to use when finding something that smells nice for a whole lot of reasons.

A*Men lasts for ages, 1 million lasts for ages... quite a lot of frags lasts and lasts and lasts. It's not a good critera to use when choosing a frag though.
No, but it comes alive in the warm weather and with sweat/humidity.

Burberry - London For Men.
I used to be in love with London, until I realized that it was only the topnotes I cared for. The leather note in it smells off to me, and unfortunately that is what lingers the longest when you are wearing it.

Also projection and longevity seem to stink....
London.
Zino is the better of the two, but london is a safer blind buy and to wear.
Between these 2 I have to go with London!

Like them both. Zino has better longevity though.
Hmm probably Burberry London. The more I wear Zino the less I like it because it ends up being too sweet. But I liked it a lot at first.
I much prefer Zino.
1. Zino Davidoff
2. Burberry London

Both are very good, but Zino is Numero Uno IMHO !

Zino...

Zino is better
