Live Jazz vs Cool Water

Thread Starter
I've smelt Cool Water before and I have to say it was pretty decent. Am looking for a good sweet summer scent that the chicks will love

I can't decide between these two because I could only order Live Jazz online from where I'm from. Which one gets your vote?

Live Jazz

Personally, I prefer the smell of LJ more. But, I prefer the longevity and projection of CW.

cool water (vintage)

For what you are aiming for , i vote for Cool water .

Live Jazz by a million miles. If you are looking for that cool water vibe then Creeds Green Irish Tweed is the one to check out as cool water is a poor shadow of a copy of the glory of GIT.

Live Jazz is better, but I'd say chicks love Cool Water more, esp if you freshen up their nests with it in summer.

Live Jazz, but I wouldn't say either of these is sweet.

I have and love both. But as far as women go, I think you'll get more compliments from Cool Water. Both are excellent choices though, and can be had cheaply. (I'm also one of the oddballs who prefers CW over Green Irish Tweed. But that's because I prefer lavender and peppermint over violet leaves).

Another vote for Live Jazz.

Once again Mr. Hunter is correct in all respects.

And while female responses are entirely subjective, I wore Live Jazz out this weekend, and received several female compliments. It's a great scent.

Live jazz

that spearmint note is very refreshing

Live Jazz for sure. Cool Water has the synthetic smell I can't help but concentrate on.

Cool Water would be best in this situation

live jazz smells like axe shock perfume to me..
so cool water bro

Your answer is BOTH !!

I own, wear and love both

Cool Water smells great first, then turns a bit synthetic but lasts and projects far better than Live Jazz.
Cool Water is still a chick magnet !!
Let me be honest - only one women in 1000 will be able to tell the top notes/2 first hours of the $40 Cool Water and the $250 Creed Green Irish Tweed a part. It's your choice

Live Jazz has that great spearmint note that i love. Not sickening sweet like Cartier Roadster, but cool and fresh spearmint with added green tea and dampened citrus notes.
Unfortunately projection is mild and longevity poor. But great stuff

I vote for Cool Water. I just sampled and tested Live Jazz first time today (on the wrist) and I didn't like it too much. I found it quite mediocre synthetic scent, which have a little bit weird smell. CW is synthetic also, but for me it smells better. And yes, I prefer GIT over CW (and LJ), no doubt about that

Cool water will get the job done.

Live Jazz because I wouldn't want to smell like thousands of other dudes.

I own both.

My vote is for Cool Water.

Live Jazz smells better but Cool Water will get you more compliments from the opposite sex. Kind of a weird juxtapose. Both are good for what they are but Live Jazz is less synthetic to me. Just go for what you feel smells better because most women will feed off your confidence much more than the fragrance because both smell good.

Live Jazz is way better imho.

Love the mint and coriander combo in Live Jazz. Go for that.

Live Jazz by a million miles. Here in Australia you can pick up a 100ml bottle for under $50. A smooth, inoffensive fragrance that you can wear all year yound and women LOVE. Also VERY cheap considering how overpriced most colognes are in Australia.

However, if you want to smell like every guy and his father then wear Cool Water.

Vintage Cool Water (but I like them both)

Not sure I agree.
Here in Scandinavia, Cool Water was VERY popular in the 90's.

But here, 20 years later, I rarely smell Cool Water anymore.

This is why I've started using and enjoying it again.

Of course Cool Water is still quite popular - but the newer scents like 1 million, La Nuit, YSL L'homme, Armani Code and Burberry Beat/Brit are far more used here in Denmark now than Cool Water is.
Le Male is still popular, but the popularity of Cool Water is fading fast over the last 4-5 years here.

Do you mean Cool Water from Davidoff? If you do, my answer is yes.
I prefer Cool Water.
