I cant decide lol. I have been contemplating buying these for the past 2 days. I cant do both with the holidays around the corner. These headphones sound soooo good and B 2 B smells sooooo good. Is there a wanna be Back to black ?

Get a pair of AKG's or Sonys or better yet a pair of ultrasone's!!! and a bottle of dior homme.

the studio headphones suck, Back to black. actually all the dre headphones are overpriced and overrated. Go with some Sony's MDR-7506 and save some money.

take a frag break & get the headphones

dre's do suck, i am and have been a studio engineer over 10 years and they are overrated

Neither. Go on Ebay and get a sample of b2b, and then decide.

Bee, what do you suggest.? I prefer CDs and even vinyl but I do have an iPod. I try to keep my music to 192 or better though. So, I mainly listen to my iPod through head phones, but if I am just at my desk I'll put a CD in or a record on listen to them through my headphones.

Well, in fairness are you posting this question at any audiophile forums?

I think you missed the "B 2 B smells sooooo good" part. I also say neither.

Considering how potent Back to Black is a small decant would last you quite awhile.

Which do you need more at this point?
Will your current wardrobe of perfumes hold you off for a while if you get the headphones?
Or is your current listening system enough for a while?

Youre only paying for the name....
Headphones smell better IMO ;-)))))
get some good headphones first. it's more rewarding for a longer period of time and it's more of an upgrade thing rather than collecting. I would advise you to put more thought into it though.
You'll get more use and enjoyment out of the headphones. But to reaffirm what everybody else has pointed out, the Dre's suck!

Usually because said name has identified itself with quality and advanced technology. And thats what you're really paying for.

Get good headphones pronto mate! I think you'll get a lot more use/enjoyment out of them. And I also vote to look into other headphones besides the Dr. Dre's; I love me some Dre as a musician/producer, but his headphones are overpriced. You can get better for less with other companies.

The name doesn't reflect the cost of quality. There are some beautiful headsets at other prices. Dre is branding, like any designer clothes. The name is making it cost more than that quality has to. I wouldn't say they are bad, but there are headsets that actual Pro's trust for less money. Just gotta look around, not buy from the big stand advertised in Best Buy.

+1 ...

I recommend skipping those hideous Dr Dre cans. Look at buying some Grado SR-125is (excellent, btw), and use the balance to buy a 50 ml refill bottle of Back to Black and an empty atomizer bottle to hold it.
