Wedding scent suggestions?

Hi all,

I'm helping a friend choose a fragrance for her wedding!

Obviously personal preference would be important in selecting a scent for such an occasion but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The wedding is only a couple of weeks away, so it's an emergency :/

Ideally nothing too mainstream, I was thinking maybe Carnal Flower?

We have Malle and Lutens available in Sydney Australia and a small variety of niche lines at hand too.... It's summer here and the wedding will be held overlooking a beach.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a heartbreakingly beautiful wedding fragrance?

Also... The man is in need of a fragrance too!

Hello missylee although I own Carnal Flower and love it, IMO for a wedding it is a bit too loud and somewhat animalic.,

I would suggest you the following Fragrances:

- By Kilian - Beyond Paradise - It shares the tuberose note with Carnal flower, IMO better crafted compare to CF;

- MDCI - Peche Cardinale, also a frag around Tuberose + Peach and Gardenia

I agree that Carnal Flower is a good suggestion.Since you're alreday thinking about it ,maybe it's the right one for you Another scent I would suggest for such an occasion is SL Sa majeste la rose.

Chantecaille Petales - heady gardenia & tuberose
Creed Spring Flowers - Spring mix of rose, jasmine & peach
Serge Lutens Daim Blond - beautiful elegant white suede & apricot

For Him:
John Varvatos 10th Anniversary or the Original - nice smooth, easy
Tom Ford Grey Vetiver - Crisp & classic
Gucci by Gucci
Creed Original Cologne - Clean citrus

For weddings, I always suggest the biggest and most opulent, the bride must wear something over the top. Amouage Gold or Ubar (and Gold man for the groom). But Carnal Flower is great too.

I've got daim blond and a little carnal flower so I'll be getting her to test these today
