High School Kid's cologne

Alright everyone here's the deal: this guy walked by yesterday and he was wearing the best smelling cologne. I'm trying to find what it was without having to ask him. Obviously I can't describe the scent, but I can say that it didn't have the alcohol smell that most cheap colognes do. I would really like to find what it was because it was seriously the best smelling cologne I've ever smelled. I don't think it was anything cheap and it wasn't overwhelming. He walked by, I smelled it, but after he left the smell didn't stay. It is exactly what I'm looking for. The kid was 17 and so am I. Does anybody have any ideas? I've smelled the cologne a few times so I don't think it's rare or too unique. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated!

P.S.
Cost isn't an issue
I don't want any suggestions like Axe
It wasn't any Calvin Klein or Ralph Lauren

ones i always smell in my area would be le male, adg, fierce. they do smell good.
