Name something from the back of your collection

Name something from the back of your collection that you keep meaning to dig out and try again.

My collection is not the largest, but I admit I have several in there that I just haven't gotten around to wearing lately. I don't want them to feel unloved.

Here's an oddity I haven't worn in years: Lagerfeld Jako. Must try again soon.

What's in the back of your collection that you haven't worn in a while? Please list one or more. Bonus points: wear it, and report back.

Ralph Lauren Romance For Men. The fragrance - er, not one of my favorites. But it brings back memories of a certain hot romance. Need to try it again, for the scent memory if nothing else.

John Varvatos John Varvatos

I kinda miss it. Haven't worn it since January.

The climate's been all messed up for it. On the warm and humid side for December.

I find John Varvatos works best in cold, crisp weather. Otherwise, it can behave in strange, unpredictable and dysfunctional ways.

Victor and Rolf's Antidote hasn't gotten the love it deserves from me in awhile.

Polo Green. I love the stuff, but can't bring myself to sport it in public. Maybe I'll bust it out one day when I plan on just chilling at home.

Herrera for Men (classic) and Animale Animale are in the back of my collection. I need to put one of them on soon as they're both high quality!

Polo Modern Reserve- It smells great but I just don't find myself wanting to smell like I just walked out of a forrest fire in the greenest forrest that ever existed. It's very smokey and green and great but I just don't wear it much.

Hollister Jake- Bought this years ago when I lived in Hawaii and it was my go-to beach fragrance. I live in Alaska now. Sorry Jake.

Dolce & Gabbana pour homme- I have a 4.2 oz bottle from 2008 and it's the vintage formula and it smells great but for some reason I haven't really worn it much over the years. That may be a good thing considering it's been reformulated into a pitiful mere shadow of it's former self and I have about 75% remaining in my bottle. Still smells just as good and lasts all day

This is great stuff. Check out all the fun and unusual fragrances listed so far. A bad day in any basenoter's wardrobe is better than a great day in just about any normal fragrance collection. A testament to the creativity and style of basenoters everywhere. Right on!

Man, with enough bottles the vast majority see very little action. Not complainin', just sayin. With this in mind, I took Kolnisch Junchten for a spin yesterday while off from work and again today to the office. As with most, easy on the trigger and it's fine for the office.

I don't keep the things in rows, or any other particular order, so there isn't a back. There are fragrances I rarely use that are in a variety of boxes, and one of the fragrances is Début (DelRae), which I forgot about, and is excellent.

Just pulled out Tabac, Tartar Leather and Mecca Balsam from the back of drawer, made by Abdes Salaam Attar. Mr. Dubrana creates the very finest collection of dark and resinous leather + tobacco + incense + civet fragrances in the world, imo. I would put his collection of dark masculine scents up against any other house in the world. I need to bust my three out for winter use. Each of his creations is wonderful in its own way: Tabac, Tartar Leather, Don Corleone, Mecca Balsam, Chillum, Cuba Express).

Herrera for Men by Carolina Herrera; it just doesn't project very well even though it smells nice enough.
