May buy my first gourmand

Thinking of getting Animale Animale. I did read reviews on it but if you haven't left a review already, I'd like your input.

- How is longevity and projection?

- Does it smell more synthetic or natural? (I smelled a chemical assault with A-Men)

- Is it super sweet?

- Is it masculine?

- Are gourmands (specifically this one) something you can wear frequently or are they so intensely flavorful that you need to space out your wearings of them.

- What are the dominant notes you perceive?

Thanks in advance.

On me average.

To me synthetic

No

IMO yes

Animale Animale is not bad but there are better gourmands out there IMO.

I like gourmands, but I find them easier to wear in the cold, and not with terrible frequency, but that's just a personal preference.

I'd say it's one of the more masculine gourmands. Projection is moderate. It's sweet but I wouldn't call it "super sweet" (Blue Sugar is super sweet to me).

Though I would say there are better gourmands out there, even in this price range. Hanae Mori (might be a bit feminine), Body Kouros, Rochas Man....

Animale Animale is a good gourmand to test the waters. It's not overly sweet or cloying. Rochas Man would be another good one to cut your teeth on and takes it a step further with more recognizable gourmand notes.

try hanae mori too

I'm a huge fan of gourmands but to get started I'd go with Rochas Man or Hanae Mori...
