WORST Blind Buy? - Page 2

Kouros. I can't shake the urinal cake olfactory image, and ... it ... never ... ends ...

Dana gift set: English Leather, British Sterling, Navy, Canoe, and English Leather Black. They basically all suck.

Yatagan. Not really blind, but I was jet lagged, and I may have confused it with l'Anarchiste or maybe I accidentally dabbed some Tabac Blond over it. I don't know, but now I don't like it. I keep wearing it sometimes as I am still trying to power through the "WTF?!" effect.

Hermes Jardin Apres La Mousson. I thought the ad campaign was adorable, and I was a fan of the other Jardins. I can't believe Ellena created that one.

Cabotine. At least it was really cheap.

Bulgari Aqua Marine Toniq

Has a rotten seaweed opening that is really funky (and not the good kind of funky). I am slowly learning that I don't seem to be very fond of aquatics.

Lacoste Blanc

I have learnt not to base your blind buys on one amazing review. I had to give it away, couldn't stand the stuff.

As for my other blind buys they have all been great!

Have not had a blind buy thus far.

probably buying Cool Water over 15 years after last wearing it. It's not how I remembered it, and is slightly disappointing.

You believed an ad campaign? Oh...

I'll make up for you both with my 2nd crappy blind buy in this thread. Burberry Weekend.

Body Kouros was my worst by far!

La Prairie- Silver Rain.

Thankfully this was only in a miniature, so I can just look at the pretty bottle instead of thinking about the dreadful cacophony of clashing mess that is inside it.

Quorum.

I'd picked it up as a gag gift for a friend (whose usual tastes run to aquatics) and couldn't resist a test spray as soon as I'd gotten back to the car - it nearly blew my head off, my car reeked for a week, etc...
