Suggest a Creed

I'm in love with MI, but it lasts for about 2 hours and i cant find it on a local store.
I have an opportunity to get one of the following for christmas - which one would you recommend from the following -
Green Irish Tweed
Original Vetiver
Royal Water

I choose either GIT or OV myself. Neither are my absolute favorite Creeds though (My top 3 Creeds are Virgin Island Water, Himalaya, & Original Santal). I also like Neroli Sauvage as well.

As far as your choices; GIT is good (but the overbearing violet leaves note gets to me). Original Vetiver is great, but it gets a funky medicinal/earthy smell in the base (the Vetiver I guess), and I honestly prefer the similar Mugler Cologne, which has a cleaner/soapier base. And I personally just don't care for Royal Water. (for that kind of Creed scent, I think Neroli Sauvage, Bois De Cedrat, and Selection Verte are much better).

Himalaya for 8+ longevity and a clean soapy smell.
Green Irish Tweed for amazing earthy green-ness and about 6-8+ hours of longevity

I also own Silver Mountain Water which lasts about 4 hours and the general consensus seems to be that it lacks in longevity.

Original Vetiver is my all time favorite Creed by far. I found the rest to be just ok.

If you like Millesime Imperial, I will suggest Green Irish Tweed or Himalaya. Aventus is nice, but different than previous options.

I'm a total noob, so grain of salt, but I love the Original Vetiver. Not on your list, but favorite right now it the Royal Oud. Also +1 for the Aventus. However, I am REALLY new, so I would virtually ignore my opinion, lol.

Thank you for so many responses This is such a great community. I went with Green Irish Tweed, it works as preorder, so i have to wait till 4 days. will post a review once i try it on monday

Green Irish Tweed -- I thought it was understood at this point that GIT should be everyone's first Creed, although mine was Virgin Island Water. ;-)

WOW i got the GIT today, and i must say.. it holds up to my expectations. What a well balanced and mystic smell. I have only used it once, and i am loving it !!!
It's alot different from Millesime Imperial, which is my first Creed. MI is a bit more sweeter, this one is alot more mystic. For me, its great, but also can't wait to wear it around girls to see if they pick it up. Next stop, AVENTUS!!!

Glad you are enjoying GIT. I loved Aventus as well, went through a 1 ounce in about a month, LOL. Aventus is delicious. Good luck!

1oz in a month? That must have been a very nice batch. How many sprays were you wearing a day

Yeah, i was wearing 5-6 sprays at a time and reapplying twice a day. It got used as a room air freshner as well by my wife who lOved it too!
Ive since throttled back to just two sprays once a day - ironically i suffer less OF as a result so i enjoy it for longer with less now. Who knew!?
