Probably Encre Noire more than year ago... Latest "close to wow" was L'Air Du Desert Marocain.

Tried Royal Oud yesterday and was quite impressed, not wowed per se but still purchased a decant today to explore further.

Dior Private Collection Leather Oud. I know I like it, I suspect I'll love it, I know I'm slightly afraid of it, and I'm definitely wowed by it.

Creed Millesime Imperial. I wasn't quite ready for how amazing it actually smells since I was expecting it to smell like Unforgivable.

MPG's Centaure. It wowed me because I bought it blind and wasn't expecting much... it's a slammer!
Frapin's 1697 also wowed me with its lusciousness and enormous complexity.

I have a decant of this, but I'm afraid to wear it in public without first knowing if it'll behave. I think that's a first!

Ha! That would be my second - same thing happened. I'd put it away thinking it was a Terre D Hermes clone - but then wham! I'm in love (again...).

I was surprised at how good Royal Secret for Men is, considering the price (about $9 total for 50 ml).

Nersh, I'm sooo on the fence about getting this one. I got a sample and I love the smell, however it seems really weak...but I'm wondering if that's just the sample. The same thing happened with a sample of Ambre Precieux that I had, but then I got a bottle and it's like 5 times stronger.

So, do you find the Santal Noble on the weak side? Or is it a nice, healthy scent, strong enough to wear a few sprays and cover the day?

It might be my next buy, but I'm not sure...

Ditto. I remember smelling it before it came out when Neiman Marcus had the testers available and literally saying "woah" out loud. Purchased it when it came in about a week later.

As much as I am anti-MFK Lummy Noir is a very nice scent, at times I find myself torn wanting to order it but also wishing it lasted longer. It's certainly no Uden, Kobe, Invasion Barbare, or even Tobacco Vanille in the longevity department.

It's got good longevity in my experience.

I'll tell you what Mediocre Francis Kurkdjian fans, I'll wear the last of my spray sample out tonight where I'll be around an abundance of lovely ladies. If I get a comment (positive) on this cologne I'll support the devil himself and buy a bottle. And maybe in the the process hate Maison a little less.
