Hedonist, congrats on the Malle, that one has been on my To Buy list for years now. One JCE's best uses of citrus besides divine Bergamote.

YSL - La nuit de l'homme
Could probably do Cool Water and or Encre Noir as well, but E.N is hard to use correctly for me (too much casual life ) and CW is just ... overused? Hopefully people are starting to forget about CW just about now tho, so the time could be right.[/QUOTE]

I was wondering the same thing about CW. I don't have any generic young men's fragrances and am pondering getting this one.
This week bought Dior Homme and Michael Kors.

Bought a nice big bottle of Aramis today. Not buying anything else until September :S Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.
I bought this fragrance, too (La Nuit de L'Homme) and I am really enjoying it. I also have the original L'Homme. Like them both.

Bought a 1.7oz Platinum Egoiste tonight.

This is my 2nd go-around with this fragrance.
The 1st time I tried it, it gave me a headache
and/or would make me sneeze. I'm testing it
out again tonight, and it's working great so far

Honestly, the first time I can say that I've gone
back to a fragrance and done a 180.
I'm glad I tried it out again.

Saving for a holiday in summer, then next student loan payment after that will be September. I'll be going off the rails with that - Ambre Russe and Cuir Ottoman.

I agree. My most preferred d'Empire scents are their citruses.

Perfumed Court sells them as a set, which makes it quite easy. I got the 2.5ML size which was probably a bit unnecessary.

After one month without buying anything, I bought this scent my father used to wear when I was young. I want to have it for long time and finally after so many testing I get my hands on it.

My nostalgic perfume is

Accoard to the sticker on the cellophane, it is from April's Fool day 2011 batch.

Old English Lavender by Yardley (vintage juice)

I never really liked the new juice on shelves (too sharp), the vintage juice has some of the top notes bruised but the middle/base are totally fine. I bet there are some nitro-musks (now banned) in this, it has a very substantial (but still light) presence. Not as sharp as the Lavanda Tonica by Acqua di Parma I already own and a bit more restrained than the very musky Caldey Island Lavender Water. I should perhaps investigate layering this with some lavender scented talc or lotion to give it more oomph.
