I'm still trying to figure out what's happening during its evolution but, so far, I'm loving it. Overall I'd classify it as one of the most "abstract" and synthetic deliveries from this house (together with Stephen Jones, Guerrilla 1, the Odeurs, Dry Clean and Skai)...good news...

I received these today

Something new (Floris JF 100ml) and something to back up when I run out (Chanel Egoiste AS splash 120ml)

Found a 100ml bottle of vintage pre-reformulation YSL M7 today, complete in cellophane etc. Bought it blind since it seems to be quite a legend.

Smells very good, but dunno if its for me yet. Its very good, but kind of sweet and medical for my taste. Might have to let it go for something else.

Outstanding choices. I think you'll like Santal Noble too.

Today my wife bought me Bleu de Chanel. I thought I would dislike it due to some reviews but I really like it!
I ordered a bunch of stuff from the L'Artisan sale. They came today!

Passage d'Enfer, 50 ml.
Piment Brûlant, 50 ml.
Poivre Piquant, 50 ml.
Tea For Two, 100 ml.

I own all except Passage d'Enfer already.... PB and PP in 15 ml sizes and a Tea For Two in 100 ml. WIth all the talk about it getting discontinued, I thought I would get a back up bottle. I may give it to a friend as a present, though.

There was a 5th scent ordered and it wasn't included in the shipment. I'm not sure if it's on backorder, or never to come. I wrote L'Artisan about what's up, so hope to hear from them soon about it.

Just finished ordering:

A*Men Taste of Fragrance

Bond No. 9 I Love NY for All

Other fragrances I've bought this month include:

Burberry London

Creed Aventus

Dior Homme Intense

Dior Homme Sport

Yes, I am now broke... at least I'll smell good!

I see I am not the only one on this thread to have bought...

Man I am so excited I wore a sample before buying, and I got an unprecedented amount of compliments, something that almost never happens around here. Lovely scent.

Really happy with ALZD's generously sized samples.
(Luckyscent sample vial on the right for comparison)

Jubilation XXV + free gift (samples of Amouage men's line) + sample orgy of Creed, by Kilian, Xerjoff, Maitre Parfumeur de Gantier, and O. Durbano

(If you happen to order an Amouage from LuckyScent, just type Amouage2011 for the promo code to get the gift set.)
What is ALZD? Those are very generous indeed.

[Update: I found it but do not speak German very well.]

Excellent buys. Have you tried Parfum d'Habit and Jardin du Nil?
Love this stuff at first sniff and bought it on the spot.

Just bought 30ml bottles of PdN's New York, Balle de Match and Cedrat Intense. I have owned 100ml bottles of the latter two before, but sold them last year as I doubted I'd ever get through them. Recently decided I missed them, so the 30mls are a sort of compromise .
^^^ plus Sartorial and a blind purchase of CdG Calamus which sounds very interesting.

Duty free at Manchester airport, couldn't resist buying this awesome cologne:

Guess how much Pure Havane is at Dubai duty free? Usd 60. Yes, 60. If my holidays were shorter I would've gotten a few of them to sell on the Bay lmao. Instead, I got myself some Dior Homme.

I went for Itasca today.

I'm part of Krons SDV, Mona's vetyver and musc and Guerlains Dandy fragrance. That guy won't be happy until I'm in the poor house lol

I was wondering the same thing about CW. I don't have any generic young men's fragrances and am pondering getting this one.
This week bought Dior Homme and Michael Kors.[/QUOTE]

I tried some CW and it almost turned my stomach, exactly like a fake creed scent I had the displeasure of trying once.

Three of the absolute best, IMO, with respect to Vetyver, SDV and Dandy. Good choices all including Musc, and major congrats!

Jack, I gotta confess that your enthusiastic and colorful reviews encouraged me to get this. And LN did not disappoint.

Estée Lauder - Bronze Goddess body Milk - The plan is to layer it with Virgin Water Island by Creed and to achieve a Coconut's Blast!

Didn't buy today, but recently received 50ml decants of:

The Aventus is unbelievable. It is a Creed that actually has longevity! I got over 13 hours the first time I wore it. It smells incredible with it's fruity, smokey, and leathery majesticness. Without a doubt my favorite Creed.

Sounds great. Did you hear that Lauder is releasing a flanker of this in Summer 2012?
