Nice!
Do you really like it or is it a blind buy and does it have to arrive yet?

Sous le Vent (Guerlain)

All Guerlain prices going up in Hong Kong Feb. 1st. - owed it to myself to buy a back-up.
Is it readily available over there Mr R ?
Another Habit Rouge - vintage EDT this time. Check out the current EDT for comparison - the vintage has darker juice, gold cap, different label. The presentation is much nicer than the new, "cleaner" one.

Gave it a full wear today. The top notes seemed impaired for about 15 minutes, then it smelled very nice. Overall, I think I like the current formulation a bit more, but can't say for certain yet.

Also a couple of BN forum trades:

That last one is a 30ml decant of Heritage EDP. Much more animalic than the EDT, from what I can tell so far.
Well done, mr. reasonable!
Merci, and yes, I think there may still be a bottle or two in the other Guerlain store here.

BTW it is still 'on the books' officially, I just hoard this one because it's my personal most worn here most of the year. My experience is that if I really like something it disappears . . . the local supermarket has been particularly vindictive, pulling Haagen Daaz Dulce de Leche, Ben & Jerry's Karamel Sutra, and taunting me with long droughts between stocking Bundaberg Ginger Beer and decent Salt & Vinegar chips (I know they sit around and watch me on the CCTV things and laugh as I walk up and down the aisles looking lost, and what's particularly cruel is that they continue to carry the Bundaberg DIET version, which is undrinkable, and looks just like the real thing). I think Guerlain have a kinder heart but once bitten . . .

It was a birthday gift that I just received from a friend, so it is in my possession. I have not worn it yet, except for a small spritz on my arm. But wanted to reserve judgment until I give it a full wearing.

And another early birthday gift - Comme des Garcons Series 1 Leaves: Shiso.

Notes include Shisho Leaf, Mint, Lemon and Cumin.

Well, here it seems there is very few 'older' stock bottles left (mine was 2009 and from Munich). So once this is pulled it will be gone as it is practically a Paris Exclusive by now.
Hmmmm, 'the kinder heart'... my personal guess is that all kindness is gone by next year!

The 2011 version is just fantastic. Its clean, fresh, natural, crisp, green and woody. The tobacco and citrus have been toned way down and I simply love it now

Atta boy! I'm jealous. I have most of the ELdO samples, but I just got plain ones, not the ones with the packaging and all. I can't see your wardrobe to see how many ELdO bottles you have, but I love almost everyone I've tested and already own 7. My next is going to be Archives 69. Good purchase! Oh, and tell me what you think of Secretions magnifiques! It's one for the books!

This is not a purchase, but it´s an acquisition. From Ramon Monegal Parfums in Barcelona, I´ve received all the samples of their line with a bottle of 15 ml. of one of them. This is a present from the brand wich make me think the big business that brands like Tauer o Huitieme Art makes with their samples sets.
I think the brands should be less greedy when they want the people know about their products. I paid one time for the Tauer samples program but no more.

Thanks a lot to Monegal Parfums. If I like some of their fragrances, I´ll be delighted of buy it.
