I cannot imagine doing a mint note any better than the one in this Heeley. It's neither toothpasty or overly leafy/herbal (e.g Roadster). I reach for this all the time, though I tend to wear it...
Sel Marin - a realistic of an interpretation of the ocean; and by that I mean, all the positive traits. There is a strong citrus note, salty ocean water, and even a green seaweed/algae type...
OK... I scarcely smell any of the notes this stuff is supposed to contain, just vanilla/tonka bean.
If Le Male were reformulated to appeal to the nursing home demographic I imagine it'd come out...
Already past 2 in the afternoon here and I'm heading out for brunch with Sous le Vent (Guerlain). It never ceases to amaze me how this one kick starts the day like a great eau (AdP Colonia, Eau de Guerlain etc) and then cruises into a bouyant but laid back breezy Mediterranean flora vibe with just the right amount of oakmoss to keep it grounded thru the rest of the day. It put's wind in yer sails, or something like that.
I miss summer, so today I'm wearing Set Sail Saint Barts by Tommy Bahama, with notes of guava, tequila and lime. Very refreshing, though gone in about two hours.
