Too many weddings, bachelor parties going on in 2012 for me to make it outside of NYC. Would love to do a meet up though one year, obviously my vote goes to NYC

If anyone doesnt mind the drive or wants to see this part of the country. I live in Phoenix and its about a 4.5 hour drive from here and a car that seats 4 comfortably. I would be willing to drive up. I tried a couple of other BNers that live here and I dont think they want to go, or allergic to Vegas. Please let me know ahead of time so we can make arrangements.

My bad news is that I have a wedding 10/6. It's in San Diego, so in the off chance that this should move to the previous or following weekend, it would be easy for me to get there.

I will be posting MUCH more details about the meetup VERY SOON - thank you guys/gals for your patience!

In the meantime I'll tease you with some facts about Las Vegas:

- The first casino to be built on Highway 91 was the Pair-o-Dice Club in 1931, but the first on what is currently the Strip was the El Rancho Vegas, opening on April 3, 1941, with 63 rooms.

- There are 82 McDonald's restaurants

- The four hotels at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Tropicana (MGM Grand, Tropicana, New York-New York and Excalibur) have more hotel rooms than all of San Francisco.
