First Full wear of my new Platinum Egoiste, reminds me of A&F Fierce a bit but more classy and refined? Maybe it's my nose today but smells clean and manly.

Feuille Verte (2011 Release) by Creed

Gosh, this is so good. Like a old-skool bright green scent with floral accents. Lovely. I'm still testing the longevity/sillage. If it's all good, thinking about picking up a 50ml split decant.

nsamadi - I thought you would like it (since you like Windsor). I haven't smelled the new stuff, but the vintage one I had a decant of it was fantastic. I honestly think this works its best in Spring. The way the jasmine is interwoven with the citrus is quite magical.

Today for me it's:

Caron Pour un Homme by Caron

It was my intention to reach for a manly, chest-pounding, 80's powerhouse fougere this morning (I woke up in one of those moods...) but when I scanned my wardrobe the previous firm resolve sort of softened and I craved a bit of lavender and vanilla without all of the swirling Guerlinade in MdM and Jicky - so CPUH it is. As I have described to another Basenoter before, the scent CPUH is a scent that I imagine I will be wearing well into my old age. It is a scent that I will grow into, it will continue to smell more 'me' the older I get. Sort of like a tree that you plant and watch it grow so you can benefit from the shade it will give you in the future. Nonetheless, at my age (41), I still love it.
