Ambre Topkapi Wow! This is good!

I ordered some samples from Luckyscent a week or so back and included another sample of Invasion Barbare because I am considering a bottle. After emailing with Claude Marchal, he suggested I also try Ambre Topkapi and I caved and order a sample of it too. Normally, I kind of hate amber so I had avoided this simply based on the name. Well, today I decided to give it a try and it's blowing my mind how good this is. Anyone else have an opinion? And my main question is how much amber do others get? I don't get much of any which is just fine for me. I am shocked how much I love this after judging it originally based strictly on the name alone. Also, what kind of longevity have people got? Invasion Barbare is a beast for me.

At least try Versilia Vintage Ambra Mediterrenea before getting Amber Topkapi.

I liked it, but didn't love it. It has been a while, but if I remember correctly it was not the amber dominated fragrance I was expecting based on its name. I guess if it were about $75 a bottle I would probably add it to my collection, but no way at the price tag it is going for when there are many other amber scents that I enjoy more. Nice scent (and bottle) though...

I love it,but it has performance issues..not good longevity Invasion barbare on the other hand..A BEAST

I've tried this a few times since first posting on this. I love it! The smell is amazing and longevity has been great. Especially after the scent settles down around 30 minutes, the scent is perfect for hours.
