Looking for some good bargain summer fragrances.

I don't need the newest most expensive rarest fragrance. I am looking for a summer fragrance that is a good bargain. I am not looking for something cheap. I prefer something that is highly discounted. For example, I like Buglari Black and lolita Lempicka AM. Both can be had for $23-36 online (these I wouldn't consider summer fragrances though).

So here are the criteria:
-Spring/Summer fragrance
-Can be worn everyday
-Well liked and non offensive
-Great bargain online
-Easy to find
-Not cheap but low priced

Any Suggestions?

Here is what I have that I use in the Spring and Summer:
Creed MI (love)
Creed SMI (love)
Creed Erolfa (really like)
Creed GIT (really like)
Marc Jacobs (don't really like)
Vera Wang (just ok)
Thierry Mugler Cologne (really like)
Tommy Bahama Brown bottle (ok. More of a evening summer frag for me)

lacoste essential
versace pour homme
versace man eau fraiche

all above are relatively cheap , safe, and easy to wear.

Dior homme sport. Extremly nice smell (ignore the basenote review on that since they expected iris in a summer fragrance) it goes for around 50-60 on fragrancenet 3.40z unboxed with free shipping)

nautica voyage and 360 red are my favorite cheapies

Ditto on those 2. Best bang for the buck by far.

I like DHS and have wanted to buy it but I wanted a really good bargain and 50-60 is more than I want to spend. I am looking more around the $30-40 mark

What about YSL Live Jazz?

Is that a summer/spring frag?

Is it a dated smell?

Penhaligon's is offering 50% off of Castile which happens to be one of my favorite warm weather frags!

Another vote for Nautica Voyage. Also you should look into "Hei" from Alfred Sung, another good cheapie.
It's nothing niche or exotic, but I would like to suggest Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden. Just grabbed a 3.3 oz bottle today for $15 and it's truly beautiful stuff, with real green tea in it. It's definitely something I'll be wearing this summer.

Nautica Voyage and Diesel Green....and only if on clearance Chrome although I hate Chrome, it's the definition of Summer

a very similar fragrance and one that could serve as a good alternative is burberry sport

nevr smelled it!

Nautica Voyage. Do not blind buy Live Jazz. It has a heavy cilantro note that makes me sick.

Do you like woody/fig/leafy scent?
Molinad - Fleur de Figuier
EA Green Tea is a good idea, indeed. Fleurs de Figuier is also good (one of the best fig scents imo) and can be found cheap online. Some Acqua Allegorias are also worth checking out: Herba Fresca, Mandarine Basilic, Pamplelune.

Looks like Nautica Voyage has been recommended a few times.

I see online it is really inexpensive but if I can test it locally, then I will.

Any local places carry this juice?

I thought I may have seen it at Ulta but I could be wrong.

Does TJ Maxx carry this stuff cheaper than I can get it online?
I personally can not stand Nautica Voyage. To each their own I guess.

My personal favourite cheap summertime scents:
Love & Luck
Lacoste Essential
Kenzo PH
Chrome
Aramis Havana
Azzaro Chrome
Kenzo PH
Beyond Paradise for Men by Estee Lauder
Bulgari Aqua pour Homme Marine by Bulgari
L'Eau par Kenzo pour Homme by Kenzo
Bellagio for Men is a very inexpensive scent in the L'Eau d'Issey vein, but much better and inoffensive, IMO. Bellagio edt can be acquired online at either Amazon or eBay for under $20 for a 100ml bottle (usually sold as a gift set with the aftershave balm that quite frankly is not very good).

eBay usually also has great deals on small splash on travel bottles of Eau d'Orange Verte from Hermes. Ed'OV is a great Eau de Cologne that is just what the name says, oranges and greens. Simplistic, but beautiful concoction.

Cerruti pour Homme
Aqua Quorum

+ long lasting with just the right amount of projection
+ non-synthetic/chemical smelling (and does not contain "calone")
+ crisp/cool feeling
+ extremely affordable ($15 for a big bottle), yet doesn't smell cheap
+ inoffensive to the core
+ smells good
+ cannot overspray
+ doesn't go sour in the heat or from perspiration

Oh, one more......

Ogallala Bay Rum Cologne
+1 for Aqua Quorum, it is a very good frag for the price.
Also agree with Lacoste essential which is very crisp and refreshing.
Cerruti 1881 would be worth a try too.
Two not mentioned, that are much better than their prices would have you think:

Gianfranco Ferre Bergamotto Marino
Eau de Lalique by Lalique
...try this one: it's brilliant and costs a little...!

Eau d'Hadrien (regularly pretty costly but I got a bottle for 13 bucks at perfumania)
"Un Jardin" Series (Sur le Toit is my favorite)
Coriolan (Discontinued but still cheap Guerlain?! Yes, please!)
Guerlain Vetiver EDC (Older bottles are cheap)
Habit Rouge EDC (ditto)
Rive Gauche
Live Jazz
Horizon(Dollar tree is as cheap as it gets)
Personally, for summer cheapies, I like YSL Live Jazz, Burberry Summer ('10 or '11 editions), Perry Ellis 360 Red, Sean Jean's I Am King, Burberry Sport, Lacoste Essential Sport, Boss Pure, Davidoff Cool Water Summer Fizz, Tommy Bahama Very Cool, Mugler Cologne, CK Eternity Aqua, and CK Truth.

If only hermes was cheap, I'd get it myself... the best cheap one I found was only a few dollars, it's called Silver. I forget the name of the brand, it's a middle eastern one. Is the brand called Al Rehab? Anyway I bought it off ebay, I wear it lots.

Havana is not dense in the heat (like an amber/vanilla type can get). However, it is very spicy so you don't want to spray too much. Havana does smell even better with heat, it comes alive. Definitely check it out. It is a year round fragrance. But you can't be afraid of a little "spice".

I tried Benetton Verde Men yesterday and thought it was a solid office/school frag for summer, and it's really inexpensive.

I tried some of the suggestions and Nautica Voyage may be a winner but I do find it a bit feminine to my nose for some reason.

SO

I was thinking.

What about Body Sprays (I never used any but I do like the way some Axe body washes smell)?

How about anything from Bath and Body Works (I see they have a relatively new line. The old line made me sneeze like I was wearing cheap cologne for some reason)?

If I could find something that smells good and is inexpensive, that would be great.
Totally agree with Havana (being a good summer fragrance, that is). Two others: Chrome and Kenzo pour homme
post #48 of 74
I got bvlgari aqva really cheap on amazon, like $35. I think it smells pretty good for summer.

Live Jazz!

Great fragrance at bargain bin price

Citron De Vigne
212 Splash
Cool Water Summer Fizz
Sunset Heat

I totally agree with Live Jazz as a recommendation. It never gets old to me and it can be had a reasonable price online.

A couple recommendations for spring and summer cheapies - simply because I ran onto these a couple days ago are from Gorilla Perfume:

Dirty Perfume, Gorilla Perfume - mint, green herbs and total freshness. Lush sells this as solid perfume stick, perfume, or body spray. It is recommended for use when you don't have time to take a shower and it works great as spring refresher scent. LOL!

Breath of God, Gorilla Perfume - Also comes as solid perfume stick, or perfume. This is a fantastic vetiver fragrance that is quickened with smokey orange, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, orris. Once I was walking past a large courtyard of meditating monks at a temple in Bali - the incense, the aura and energy of the place smelled exactly like this. Breath of God is an excellent name.

These can be ordered online from Lush, Gorilla Perfume or from any Lush retail store.

I gotta say some frags even though they are heavy are actually better in the summer, and Aramis Havana is a perfect example. I think Kouros is the ultimate summer frag though. I would go with Kenzo PH, Chrome, Havana, and Kouros. I just recently bought Aqua Quorum, but it hasn't arrived yet so I can't reccomend it yet.

+1 for Nautica Voyage. Very long lasting too. Also has a good nose behind it, if you care (Maurice Rocel)

I know what you mean. I wear Terred'hermes in year round but like it in the summer but I actually think it is more of a Fall/Winter scent.

For a few months I have been dying to buy another bottle of Fahreheit. In thinking about getting a new Spring/Summer Scent, I just thinking about scents that would typically be classied as such.
I have always associated Fahrenheit with the Summer.

Maybe that will be my next purchase.

Nautica Voyage

Dior homme sport should be nice in the summer
