Looking for some good orderly direction

Thread Starter
I have recently begun collecting multiple fragrances after years of owning and using only one or two bottles at a time. I have read great reviews on BN, found many scents appealing, and made some satisfying purchases (also some blind buy duds). As I build my collection, I'm noticing similarities in the types of fragrances I enjoy, whether that's the family (i.e., oriental, woody, etc.) or the notes (e.g., citrus, amber, etc.). I would like those of you with more experience with the classifications and notes of scents to take a look at my wardrobe (most specifically - recently worn) and see if you can define my interests and make recommendations of fragrances to try, whether new or on my test list. I live in a four-season climate. I have quite a few samples yet to test, but also wanted to get feedback from BN aficionados. Let's focus on winter scents for now and if I get a good response, I will repost for spring/summer.

Welcome! I think Midnight in Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels would be a nice addition to your already nice wardrobe.

Hi, Man!

You don't give stars so I've no idea whether you liked Lacoste Essential better than Zino
(I hope not)
Also, you have fragrances both in your to test list and in your sample list, so I assume you already sampled and tested them (?)
Well, you don't make it easy but I'll give it a shot:

OK. Winter:

Egoiste (which you do have in your to test and not in your samples-I think)
Roma Uomo--Minotaure's younger and less pugnacious cousin.
Signature for Men by St. Dupont---Hurry it's being discontinued!
The already mentioned Geir by Geir Ness
Cacharel Pour Homme by Cacharel
Bulgari Black
And,
(if you don't mind breaking the bank)
Royal English Leather by Creed.

CHECK OUT THE REVIEWS ON THESE

Cheers,

(and welcome to the madness!)

Mario
