Any suggestions on layering mens cologne with floral or herbal fragrances?

I've discovered that layering fragrances is so cool and one can create an amazing sent and have an original signature sent. The ones I wear most are Creeds Vetiver, Bleu De Channel, Bvlgari Extreme, and Tommy Bahamas Set Sail St Barts. I would love to layer one of these with a floral sent maybe Jasmin or with something herbal\\green tea? I'm open to any suggestions or would like to hear what you layer your fragrances with.

Yesterday I've discovered by accident that layering French Lover with Tuscan Leather (1:1) is friggin' awesome!

Actually don't layer unless through lapse of memory. Prefer using one scent at a time.

I like florals a lot too, but I wear them directly, without a masculine base.

I've never experienced, but one has to be careful because some florals can overpower fresher masculine things. Olene by Dyptique strikes me as being suitably jasmine-y and not too strong. In mainstream territory, Anais Anais has a rather fresh rose, but go easy on the spray.
