I'm a sucker for the Allure line so I'll definitely be picking this up.

I'm excited for this one, Chanel has high standards to live up too, I'm thinking it will be good! Can't wait to see, beautiful bottle too

Chanel has made safe, boring but still good high quality frags ever since they made Allure Homme, which to me still was their latest high quality designer frag.

Still i own all of them and will also be purchasing this one in 150 ml, because i'm a sucker and fool (for Chanel frags)

Here's hoping they will launch a Bleu EDP for fall 2013.......

So it is a Fresh-Aromatic-Slightly Spicy fragrance with the notes of
- Black Pepper
- Mint
- Tangerine
- Cypress
- Moroccan Sicilian Lemon
- White Musk
- Tonka Bean
- Sandalwood
The notes seems promising.

Well, i have to agree that the notes sounds very good.

A spicy citrus, instead of a generic aquish? Maybe there are some hope?

I cant wait for this!
where does it say peppermint?
Is it just me or is this fragrance receiving the pre-bashing that bleu de chanel got before it got released. and then there became a division of bleu lovers and haters. It looks so.

It doesn't - it says 'aromatic mint' :

A musky perfume, fresh and aromatic, slightly spicy amadreado whose maximum is the origin of 'impulse' that pushes man to action."

which is good enough for me since I enjoy mint in some of my frags.
They only last 4-5 hours though, so don't expect this to last much longer..... 6-8 hours tops

I agree, but you got to admit a flanker from a flanker is just not that serious a base to launch a new Chanel frag on, is it

Variation on Geranium pour monsieur?
I predict it would be a great seller

Why can"t the companies just bring one GOOD perfume once in a while instead of 3 in a year... I miss the 80 ies and 90 ies

That´s exactly what I mean.

An extrem version of ÃgoÃ*ste would make us happy enough.

No, you're right on the money. Many members here hate Bleu De Chanel and bash it on a regular basis, yet it sells very well and most people that I've talked to in person about it seem to either really like or love it (no negative comments that I can recall).

For some reason, anything that may seem destined to become "popular" (and therefore, mainstream) is often criticized here.....for no other reason than it's popular and it's mainstream. But then again....how much sense does it make to judge something and critique it with negative comments WHEN IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN RELEASED YET?!?!?

I've tried to ask this question myself. It's beyond absurd, but it's sort of a forum phenomena, I see this on car forums, watch forums, fragerance forums... basically any sort of hobby forum I visit, this happens.

Bleu is nice, AHS is nice and I'm fairly sure this is going to be nice as well.
Like i said before will give it a shot.
Was given a sample of this today.

Im quite the fan of Chanel and Polge, but I can't find anything "extreme" about this fragrance. It is very subtle.

To me it bears a slight resemblence to AHS, but I get alot of the mint and mandarin. It is quite cool and fresh but, at least on me, this is very much a skin scent.

Longevity seems to be fine though, I would have liked a bit more of the tonka bean in the dry down.

I actually really enjoy Bleu so I wouldn't say I bash fragrances for being safe but this, unfortunately, is hard for me to get animated about. It smells "nice" but it is a little bland, and I really doubt anyone is going to notice it on you very much.

Hopefully my feelings change, iv only been testing it out for an evening.
