I'm going to see The Chemical Brothers movie (in theaters - one night only) tonight, 'Don't Think' so today I'm playing all of their tracks in my iTunes on Shuffle
I'm stoked.
At one time in my life, if you asked me who my Very Favorite Artist was, I would have answered The Chemical Brothers. I have almost their entire discography, and while I've sort of been a bit disappointed with some of their latest output, it seems as if the last year they got their groove back with that soundtrack they did for 'Hanna' and that 'Black Swan' track.
I have gone to one of their concerts in Miami and although I was definitely under-the-influence at the time (cough, cough), the show was mind-bending. Electronic acts and raves have copied a lot of their lighting and video styles from TCB shows.
Some of my all-time favorite TCB tracks are the vinyl-only Sasha remixes of 'Out of Control', '(The Best Part Of) Breaking Up' from the 'Loops of Fury EP', a rare b-side from one of their early singles called 'Life Is Sweet (Delik 1)' and of course 'Chemical Beats'.

I also own several Michelle Tumes albums.
