Pardon and L'instant Extreme

I just received my 5ml split and right away this reminded me of something and it was L'instant extreme, these two are soo similliar to my nose and honestly i prefer extreme over pardon. I feel guerlian is blended so perfeictly and gives me great longevity well above average projection. I wore Pardon last night and it was not the beast i've read it was, but the longevity was pretty impressive. Overall its a good fragrance but for the money i'd go guerlian in a second. I really want to buy a Nassemoto but this one is a pass for me. Next on my sample list is Black Afghano and Duro. Hopefully one of these two are winners.

Isnt Pardon really heavy and LIDGE much, much lighter ?

Agree the Guerlain is better.

I haven't worn Pardon enough , but its defintely strong juice. I'm just saying that LIDGE is no slouch by any means and lasts 12hours on my skin and projects well for 6. The smell is very similiar imo, not exact but in the same genre that owning LIDGE, makes Pardon a pass for me. If i did not own LIDGE...Not sure which one i would pick. I need to give Pardon full wearing, this is based on me wearing it in the house last night just sampling it.

All Nasomatto is overpowering. But I was under the impression that Pardon was crazy heavy.

I think there's a moment in their development where one recalls the other, but overall I find the Guerlain much more gourmand. I agree that they're both good, and that people who love one would do well to check out the other. The Guerlain certainly gets a lot more buzz here - perhaps because it's more affordable.
