I need Spiritueuse Double Vanille - where do I find it?

I live in Canada, and I'm having a bit of trouble finding it online. Anywhere other than NM sell this stuff?
Nope. Your best bet is getting in on a split like a did...
They have 2 or 3 splits going on right now if you don't need to get the bottle retail.

Kron's splits are awesome, but I'm a weirdo and want the bottle.
You're right, you do need it, since I've gotten it it's jumped to just about my favorite. As for getting a bottle, maybe call up Guerlain and see if they can ship you a bottle. Also, went to their website and they seem to have some stores listed in Canada but I have no idea if they carry SDV. Good luck though!

That doesn't make us weird. I got the bottle on my split.

I got in on Krons SDV split, and I'm getting the bottle as well

harrods, and they do ship worldwide.

Call the Guerlain boutique in Las Vegas or the boutique at the Bergdorf Goodman in NYC. Each boutique has different selections, and you will have to ask if they ship internationally.

The number for Las Vegas is 1-866-409-6110.

The number for NYC is 1-800-558-1855 x2734.

Go to guerlain.com, clik "contact guerlain" on your left hand side. Fill out those boxes and let them know that you would like to purchase SDV in Canada and ask them the nearest store that carry it. The customer services are pretty good and they usually write you back within 24 hours.
It's pretty much sold out everywhere right now because they are in transition to the new bottles. But NM and Nordstrom carry it. Unless your looking for the old bottle design. Your best best is to wait and jump on it when they become in stock.
NM and Nordstrms are your best bet.

+1 on the botique in Las Vegas. They had just about everything when I was there.

I think I'm gonna join Kron's split.

In my opinion, this stuff is kind of a middleground between Pure Havane and Tobacco Vanille, but easily superior to both.

Good idea. I checked the NM around here and they got an open box for 225. Must be a return. Looks like it was used, so I didn't want to buy it.

An open box for 225? Damn, arent they $225 new - or are they up to $250?

I agree with you. When you pay full price, the box had pretty well better be pristine! I once bought a luxe full-price Guerlain exclusive (a numbered bottle) and the thing had already been sprayed. Very upset about this.

For the record, SDV is set to be released in a month or so according to boutique staff, but I don't know the new cost.

Should be the same cost $250 as the rest of the L’Art et la Matière line.

Should be available soon at NM according to the SA I talked to today. Will be in the new bottle!!! So what does everyone think about the bottle design change?

I like the new bottle.

I never use atomiser bulbs, anyway. A great way to have leaks and evaporation, ruining an expensive fragrance.

You can still have a normal sprayer with the new bottle!

I decant into a small sprayer--that's how I save the juice!

The Bergdorf Goodman boutique just got some in.

Ask for Alena. The bottles are $235. You may also call 212-872-2734.

I definitely like the new bottle better, but my wallet is discouraging me from smelling this stuff. Has anyone ever seen a bottle out for sampling at NM before? If so I must have missed it.

Well to be honest, no. I have never seen a bottle at NM to sample. Only the L’Art et la Matière line, Shalimar line was available. Come to think of it that's very weird.

The offerings of different Guerlain products will vary from store to store and boutique to boutique.

It is best to call around.

I know. NM carries frags that they don't seem to put out with the others. I saw they carry Encre Noir, another one I want to try, but it wasn't out for sampling. I wonder if they rotate.

Yep, that's exactly what I said to myself, looks like I'll be crossing over the border about picking it up from Neiman Marcus or Norstrom

$235 (bottle) + $75 (shipping) + Tax (8.875%) = $337.51
OR
$235 (bottle) + Tax (6%) = $249.10

Saving of $88.41!!!

Easy decision imo

You need to contact your nearest Guerlain boutique. It's part of Guerlains exclusive collection now

Not all Guerlain boutiques stock all of the items. I would suggest calling around.
