Expand wardrobe and need advise

Thread Starter
I am planning to make some new purchases and need advise on what to buy next.

My current wardrobe:
Angel Therry Mugler
L'instant extreme, Guerlin
Terre Hermes EDP
Damascus Oud by Montale
Black Oud by Montale
Bulgari Black - dont fancy the rubbery scent that much
Cool Water
Rochas Man
Honea Morea HM
L'eau D'Issey
Ambre Sultan - Serge Lutten

For parties:
Le Male
Forgivable by Sean Jean

GIT - coming soon
MI - coming soon
Noir de Noir - coming soon
Tobacco Vanilla - coming soon
M7 vintage - coming soon
Musc Ravageur - coming soon

What fragrance type or dominant scent am I missing? I am considering classics like Habit Rouge EDP, Eau Sauvage however open to other idea. I like Oud/Agarwood however not the pure oud oil types that our too oudy. I am not too fond of getting more gourmonds and I don't like leather scent. I am open to ideas however require that they have high sillage/projection and above average longitivity. Also considering the recent purchases i made, I won't consider purchase options that more expensive than $100.

Advice?

Story by Paul Smith - One is initially treated to a blast of a lemony and slightly peppery, citric accord. The herbal and faintly woody aspects of ivy leaf intrude upon and commingle with this sparkling citrus, providing a crisp, leafy opening, which saunters to the awaiting middle. Here, in the heart, a floral potion from the sweet jasmine and cardboard-like mustiness of rose leaf tempers the jarring opening, and transitions to the welcoming base. An altering melange of grass-like and clean vetiver, white musk, with its laundered-linen illusion, as well as a rugged, mineral amber coalesce. With an errant metallic and faintly minty something fluttering about, the dry woodiness of cedar squires the cleanly mix to a refreshing drydown. This light and fresh composition has good projection and longevity, and will bloom in the spring, summer and fall. A very nice fragrance which can be had rather inexpensively.

Great suggestions Hedonist but I'm afraid that with a budget of $100 they'll probably give him just the cap of any of the fragrances you listed.

Maybe a traditional vetiver? I would point to Givenchy or Grey vetiver.

You could skip on Musc Ravageur and M7 to get Dior leather oud.

I second the idea of vetivers for freshness.

Also, I would explore the Caron masculine trio: Caron pour un homme (lavender vanilla, classic), Yatagan (vegetal woody), and Troisieme homme (fougere, slightly floral and barbershop).

Maybe a good citrus like Concentree D'Orange Verte or a citrus aromatic like Lorenzo Villoresi Uomo

Perhaps a woody incense frag like Gucci Pour Homme or it's tea-based brother Gucci Pour Homme II.

I like the vetiver recommendations your getting too; Givenchy Vetyver's a good one.

You are missing out on the classic powerhouses, I really recommend the leather MASTERPIECE Chanel Anateus

Gucci Pour Homme

I also think an excellent vetiver might add another dimension to your wardrobe, like "Vetiver Guerlain". You want this and it has this:

high sillage/projection and above average longitivity.

A vetiver fragrance like Sycomore by Chanel or an incense fragrance like Full Incense by Montale are two excellent additions to anyone's wardrobe.
