CUIRON POUR HOMME (Helmut LANG)

Dear all,
I used to wear more than five years ago but it's now impossible to find in France.
It's very difficult to find fragrance so particular even similar.
If someone knows how/where to find it or someone mostly similar, don't hesitate !
Regards

Apart from buying a bottle on eBay, there really are no substitutes for Cuiron, IMO. It is a real shame that it was discontinued. I wear it sparingly so my 100ml bottle bought when it was inexpensive years ago can last as long as possible. At the selling prices it is going for now, it is quite dear. Good luck with your search!

The only "similar" fragrances to Cuiron that I experienced so far are Cuoio by Odori and Parfumerie Generale Cuir Venenuum. As long as you don't expect something literal, they may represent a couple of good alternatives.

ebay - and get ready to pay a fortune for it (i.e. remortgage your house). do a search, then save search and they would email you regularly whenever it comes up. that's how i've found mine..

Looks like just Ebay.

Another possible substitute, although expensive also, might be Illuminum Piper Leather.

Interesting! Can you please elaborate...I'm genuinely curious!

On ebay its still cheaper than most niche for 100ml

My 50ml is almost out and I haven't been able to find it on EBay in North America. :-(

This is the fragrance I wore all through Medschool and I have great memories associated with it. I would love to find another bottle as well.

I had a sample several months ago and I remember it made me think of Cuiron. I don't have the ability to do note by note breakdowns but in terms of performance, Piper Leather started fairly strong with okay sillage, mellowed after a while and hung around for about 8 hours total. What I perceived to be the leather note I thought was quite good. But overall, it seemed to lack a good backbone. I almost sprang for a bottle but for the price I felt it needed more depth.

Anyone have any further luck finding this? I have been scouring ebay for the last few months to no avail.
