"Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme Eau de Toilette concentrée
(not before 01.03.2012)" http://www.heinemann-dutyfree.com/be...-51909670.html

Perhaps a March 1st 2012 release?

Thanks to Oslo and Cylob for exploring the Chanel website in Russian, here's the official Chanel info: Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme [on Russian Chanel Site]

Notes: Fresh mint, Sicilian mandarin, cypress, white musc, tonka bean, cedar, sandalwood and black pepper gives the scent a "warm aroma"

Interesting. With both "Extreme" and "Concentree" is has my attention.
I wonder if its going to be an "extreme" version of the Sport EDC lemonade scent or if they are trying to offer a variation of the current Sport EDT.
Will have to take a look at this tanks for the heads up
post #5 of 135
It`s now introduced at www.chanel.com -But only with the Russian language.. :-) It`s supposed to be more aromatic and spicy than the reguler, with a hint of musc. Notes: Fresh mint, Sicilian mandarin, cypress, white musc, tonka bean, cedar, sandalwood and black pepper gives the scent a "warm aroma" :-) The Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow is the director of the new advertising video, and the actor is the Hawaiian surfer Danny Fuller.
Definite pass from me. Sport (ie weak) and extreme/concentre is an oxymoron.

Interesting! I think it's a flanker of AHS, not AHS Cologne.

I'm not a fan of the Allure line at all, but I will definitely test this when I see it in person.
I usually avoid anything with "sport" in its name, but the sentence "Warm aroma" makes it sound a bit more intresting. I like the regular Allure homme and Edition Blanche very much, so I will give this one a try.
Will likely add this to my collection in the future.
I'll take one.
Hope the mint is more peppermint and not an herbal mint like Roadster.

Love the look of this bottle

I'm saving my money for the release of:

Allure Eau Fraîchissante Homme Sport Extreme Sensuelle Blanche Edition pour l'Été

It will only be available in a 500ml bottle. . .to accommodate the label.

Cool. I'll have to try it out. I have the regular Allure Homme Sport and love it. Great lasting power.
I was told 22nd March by a sale assistant in my local dept store, UK. Will be interested to see what this is like. Was never a fan of the allure homme line but I'm still keen

Allure: Sorry About the Longevity Edition....dear god what is going on in the Chanel men's division?
The first who tried this in Chanel School in Moscow say it is not really similar to the regular AHS. It is rather sweet for a sporty fragrance and has a notable note of tonka beans. They also say it's much, much better and interesting than Bleu de Chanel.

That not means much. Even Axe deodorants are more interesting than Blah de Chanel.

But sweet, peppermint, tonka...Im interested in this one.
there was a sample of this on ebay, lost the bid by pennys coz i wasnt paying attention!
I hope this is long lasting and projects more. I loved the smell of AHS, but longevity and projection were an issue for me.

LOL!!!

I figured that after Bleu, just MAYBE they would give us a classic masculine. HA!

I guess that must have been Jersey.

The saddest part is that Chanel totally has my number, and I'll undoubtedly love it in terrible shame. *sigh*

You won't be alone

I will buy this one blind if I can't find a sample or test it locally.
Allure Homme Sport is the best "sport" fragrance by far IMO, and the notes in this
Eau Extreme version sound interesting to say the least.

We can start our meeting of Cocoholics Anonymous!

So it really IS going for an "extreme sports" angle - surfing. Check out the comments here:

And - BTW - found a nice, old interview with Polge...

http://www.scotsman.com/lifestyle/fa...hanel_1_488375

I'm just a sucker for either Polge. I'm already loving Spicebomb, and I have no doubt that I'll love this. It will be interesting to see how this compares with the other "surfing homage" fragrance, Quiksilver.
got a sample of this, not my cup of tea. the mint is menthol like someone added vicks vapor rub to the topnotes of allure homme sport.
Sounds interesting, but I'm afraiding of that it is one disappoint again from Chanel just like Bleu and most of Allure flankers...
Sampled it today. Opened just like AHS but with a lot of tonka beans and woody notes (vetiver?) added.
Really love it, but I think most of the people who didn't like the original AHS won't be into this either.
I'll buy it for sure, but hey: I'm a Chanel junkie!
the mint menthol topnotes are just to strong on my skin if i wore it people would think i had a head cold lol. it smells very similar to this:
I cant surf so i guess im going to pass on this one.
after about an hour the strong menthol calms down on my skin and i get mint with tonka bean drydown like sweet mint smell ,it reminds me of toothpaste.
Looking forward to trying this.
I'm a Chanel fan, will most likely buy this one just based off the notes and the fact that my AHS is running low...

even better !!
I despise minty scents, so I doubt this one will do much for me.
Strangely enough, I'm actually curious to try this one...

so,. you found a relation in notes with AHS ?? could you tell us more ?? i cant wait to try it..
I think I will just give it a shot for fun. Dont really fancy smelling like a toothpaste though.

I got the same 'orange' opening of the original that was immediately 'rounded' by tonka bean, which I really loved. Didn't get any of the minty toothpaste notes that others mention. All and all it's quite simular, but warmer and deeper than the original AHS.

From your description its quite well done actually. I would want a warmer version of AHS though. Do you see it as a versatile frag or more of a night time kind if frag?
I´m scared about recent launches of sport fragrances. However, I like a lot Allure Homme and if I see this flanker, I´ll try it. It´s difficult to make a fragrance more generic and expensive than Bleu.
sounds ok. is it out in sephoras yet?
I looked for this at the mall on Saturday (Texas) and no luck. Not at Sephoras either.
This is now in Boots (UK) I'm going to try and snag a sample tomorrow.
Wonder when this one will debut at my Macy's/Dillards/Sephora?
Didn't care for the original. If I see this one somewhere I might try it.

Very versatile. I would certainly wear it to work (I'm a video-editor working in small editsuites with a director within a meter range).
But it would also work as a nighttime fragrance for sure. I would wear it to bed even.
This seems to follow the trend of fresh+spicy gourmand such as CK One Shlock...

Don't most retailers get shipments in on Tuesdays or Thursdays? If Chanel is doing an Apple type of release, where it just shows up one day without any definitive release date, I'm hoping it's this Thursday, March 1st. Nordstrom's rep told me their source says March 2012, but no specific date.

From those who smelt this, is the orange toned down a bit? I like AHS, but sometimes the orange was a little too much for me...too much of a melting orange flavored Creamsicle smell.
^^
was wondering the same thing except i love AHS sweet orangeness
post #60 of 135
Its nothing aquatic?
