I see this at Marshall and TJ Max all the time, but I can't test it... Is this fragrance any good???
...some like it, some don't...so test it somewhere else...!
Absolutely in my mind. One of my favorites and a superb buy, IMO.

So here's a question... Is this the same house that makes Polo Club Beverly Hills?
It is excellent!
It's cheap and so it smells!

It surrounds you in a patchouli honey cloud and is really STRONG. I like to wear it to nightclubs or social events when you are out in the open. But I find it too overpowering to wear casually or when you are in a enclosed space.

Those are completely different scents. I vaguely remember that one (Polo Club) from when I was growing up. It was quite generic and forgettable.

No.

Good scent if you are prepared to wrestle with it for a while after it jumps out of the bottle.

If you are used to mild "fresh," aquatic, "sport" frags it clearly is not. You need to tell us what you are looking for or else you will likely get misleading advice.

I like 80's powerhouse fragrance like Kouros, Polo Green and spicy fragrance like Egoiste and MKK... Do u think I will like Giorgio for men?
Sounds like you might, but it's rather simple (I'm assuming you will be getting a reformulated bottle), though powerful.

Giorgio by Beverly Hills is a mature scent. I wore it in the 80's. It is easily one of THE 10 best male frags of all time. It is sweet and LOADED with patchouli. If you are a young shavetail or are not gregarious & outgoing, i..e., manly, then forget it. It's a ladykiller scent, but only if you are John Wayne enough to handle the stampede!

I would definitely give it a shot. It's so challenging that I'm still giving my nose a chance to catch up with it. One thing's for sure, there's not much else like it out there that I'm aware of.

I think this a love/hate Fragrance........ I for one love it and there are some days I don't. For the most part I do lol.....seems you are enjoying it congrats.

It has aldehydes in its opening that reminds me of JHL, then turns into Givenchy Gentleman (patchouli bomb) with added honey, amber and carnation. For me the aldehydes are a bit much, but once they calm down it is blissful. I may just wear it today.

I too can get quite a good rate on it online, so I consider getting it even blind, normally I wouldn't do so, but if I like virtually 90-95% of the existing powerhouse scents, I might like this one too.
I have been eyeing this at ross/maxx/marshalls for awhile as well. My problem is there is not a counter that has this anywhere close to where I live, so it would be a blind buy.
Most people, besides Hednic, stay away from knocking on oldschool frags. One is often left with the impression there is this amazing cheap buy, but then the disappointment...

I would say you should absolutely buy Giorgio for Men after reading this. I graduated high school and first started branching out with my fragrance choices in the mid 80's. This has always been at the top of the list for me since then. True, the reformulation is a bit les complex than the original, but it's still better than most of the current group of things that all smell similar. By the way, the actual name of the house is Giorgio Beverly Hills which was, when this was initially launched one of the most exclusive boutiques in Beverly Hills.

I like it. But it is a potent patchouli-sandalwood 80s bomb that will clobber people.

Big fan, I am, and I'm very fortunate to have purchased a well-kept and decent sized amount from Bigsly.

Yes indeed it is... But I love it in warm weather too. I find it absolutely sublime year-round.
