1 Million Alternative

Hi,

I am new to these forums, and I do not have a nose as sophisticated as some you probably have.

Now, I love Paco Rabanne 1 Million and its spicy sweetness and warmth but find its only really suitable for the colder months. Is there anything in a similar vein that's good for spring time?

Thanks!

212 VIP is pretty similar to it.

Yeah, 212 VIP, less intense and more fruity

Some feel that Boss Bottled is similar.

Dolce & Gabbana - The One For Men
YSL - La Nuit de L'Homme

I own VIP, Shock and YSL La nuit, 212 smells a lot like 1 mil but a bit more spicy/boozy. Its pretty nice.

I could subtly see this.

My first reaction was The Secret by Antonio Banderas too though.

it's both cooler/fresher/lighter, and more wintery at the same time !!

As for another similar scent to 1 Million, try Lapidus' Altamir.

Definitely Antonio Banderas: The Secret

Smells like a lighter 1 Million (way more versatile) but more expensive while costing 5x cheaper!
Lasts about 6 hours and girls like it too for that matter. Very good regarding the cheap price!
I bought the edt/aftershave 2x 100ml set in Spain last year for under 20 euros.

Black Soul is probably the closest to One Million, but the projection is still monstrous!

WHAT !!???!!!???

To my nose 1 Million and Boss Bottled share the same characteristics as Aramis Havana and L'eau D'Issey Miayki - NOTHING !!!

boss bottle is no where similar. 24 gold is a nice sweet scent btw in the vein of new haarlem but not similar

Brilliant, thanks for the replies. I tried 212 VIP and it was almost indistinguishable from 1 Million, also tried CK Shock and liked that a lot.

So... I bought CK Shock, ordered some TL Black Soul as it was so cheap, and some Rochas Man which leads me to another question...

Would you say Rochas Man is a strictly cold weather scent as I found with A*Star?

I also tried some Gaultier Le Male Terrible on my skin and it developed into a well matured urine funk on me. I did NOT smell fit.

IMO Rochas Man can be used all year around. It's a nicely blended gourmand.

The only scent it reminded me of was Lapidus Pour Homme.

C. herrera 212 VIP
Or for spring & summer, Joop Jump (better longevity than 212 vip as well).
