Hey y'all -
It's been such a nice day today! The sun's shining and the breeze is cool but you can tell that spring's just about here for good ...one of those days that just makes you want to go outside and smile at people, and pet their doggies! Amblin' around the Quarter with no where in particular to be is one of our favorite ways to pass a Sunday ...especially when there's food involved, and there usually is. And perfume - I just love how a soft breeze can coax a bit more glory out of a five-hours-old spritz, and those final moments of Eau du Soir were glorious, indeed. (Pardon my gushing y'all, I've had a few cocktails and I'm feeling chatty!

)
So I'm in Estee Lauder's
Knowing now, and, well .....what can I say that we all haven't been saying about the array of magnificent chypres we've been enjoying this weekend? It's gorgeous. And there's apparently pittosporum in it, so it's unique, too. Knowing was created by Jean Kerleo (yeah,
that Jean Kerleo) in 1988, and has notes of bergamot, pittosporum, rose, tuberose, plum, patchouli, iris, clove, bay laurel, sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, oakmoss and civet ...among others, lol. It's a big one!
