Many of the fragrances on both my "currently owned" and "tested" list, but right now, these are some of the scents that radically (and intensely pleasurably) stunned me from the very first try: Esencia Loewe, ADP Colonia, Knize Ten, Eau Sauvage, Voyage, Rocabar and Eau d'Orange Verte by Hermes, Van Cleef and Arpels PH, Chanel pour Monsieur and Pour Monsieur Concentree, Guerlain Mouchoir de Monsieur, Gucci Nobile, Paco Rabanne PH, Creed BDP, Tuscany by Aramis, Joint by Roccobarocco and several more, probably too many to fit into the words/characters limit of a thread post

Pure overwhelming frickin' heaven.

The most stunning fragrance experience was a friend's over application of Le Male.

Chanel Egoiste
DK Men (original)

Those two blew me away when I tried them. I was only 16 & 18 upon releases. Now, nothing really blows me away, although TF Tuscan Leather got the "holy shit that's amazing" reaction.

I was most recently stunned by Jubilation XXV.

Even though I lost interest in it and don't own a bottle (or even a sample) of it anymore, nothing impressed me as much as the first time I smelled Chergui. It was actually my first time smelling most Export Lutens so it was a very memorable day but Chergui, to my then-newbie nose, was everything I had been looking for in a fragrance and then some. I still appreciate it very much and recommend everyone start with that Lutens first but my nose began to only focus on the sweetness and eventually I couldn't stomach to wear it anymore

Very difficult to pick just one, but it would have to be ANTAEUS.

That's sad! I hope it doesn't happen to me, because Chergui is in my top 5.

I struggle to decide. But for now, I'll have to say:

Parfumerie Generale's Intrigant Patchouli - it literally left my eyes wide and mouth open. I was gobsmacked by it.

Chergui does so many things from the powdery, creamy sandalwood opening, then moist hay and tobacco, right to the smooth leather in the drydown, I've never found it to be too sweet. It's skin to skin sensuality and passion bottled. If that's the neighborhood your going to, I find it hard to beat.
But, Creed Windsor, even with its flaws(does it really have any), I find to be stunningly beautiful.

Coromandel. Instant buy at first whiff.
The SA started laughing when she saw my eyes pop and my jaw drop.
She said: "Looks like you're gonna buy this". And so I did...
Almost burned through my first 200ml bottle now and will get another one the moment it's finished.
Gorgeous stuff...

I'm sampling Nicolai's Le Temps D'Une Fete today, and I must say it is beautiful, stunning.

Agree. Hands down best patch on the market and one of the better overall fragrances.

eau sauvage
acqua di parma colonia assoluta

If pressed I would have to narrow the field to (in no particular order) Patou Pour Homme, Vintage Chanel for Men, Versailles Pour Homme, Michael by Michael Kors, New York by Parfums de Nicolai and A Taste Of Heaven by Kilian....for these few fragrances it was INSTANT love @ first sniff!..........

Carnal Flower. A SA at Barney's spritzed some on me and I was stunned by it's beauty. Never forget it. I've come down to earth since then of course. Now I frequently smell too much coconut. Familiarity does damp the fire. Still great stuff tho.

I have recently tried Spiritueuse Double Vanille and I find it stunningly beautiful and verging on holy grail territory.

I have been amazed at how stunning both Amouage Homage Attar and MFK Lumiere Noire PH have smelt on others. Never tried them myself though.

I have more than 1 easily. So, I will go with my most recent

>>>>> Thierry Muglers A*Men Pure Havane...LOVELOVELOVE IT !!!!!

Millesime Imperial, the best scent I've ever experienced for the time it lasts...

Its hard to chose just one as I have too many loves .... if I was pushed it would be a tie between Portrait of a Lady or Back to Black

Although not my favorite, when I smelled it I was like " woah" , this is so different from anything I had smelled before.

It's difficult to identify just one, but I have had serious 'Wow' moments with:
Invasion Barbare
Costume National Homme
Tom Ford Extreme
Jaipur Homme
Mona's Vanille and Oud
Pure Malt
and I remember being blown away by Gucci II the first time I tried it, many, many years ago!

Green Irish Tweed
A*Men
Aventus
Pure Malt
Jubilation XXV

Stunning from first sniff, those are the five that come to mind... Tough to pick just one.

I like the sound of that! I'm a fan of Talisker myself.

As for perfume, I'd say L'Air du Desert Marocain. Love at first sniff. Very close to Holy Grail material. If only Tauer would make a 'flanker' that was 10% more resin and 10% less vanilla, it would be P E R F E C T.
