buying nices fragrances online

Is it safe to buy from fragrancenet or fragrancex for creed / bond no9 etc ?
i have read some people got cracked bottles , box were broken etc and the fragrance inside didnt smell like the original or not as strong / without the same notes etc....

the price are interested for 250$ i can get aventus on fragrancenet , but it cost 330$ in ogilivy in montreal , canada... of course online seems like the place to buy , but is it worth the risk for aventus ? and other creeds online ? or even bond no.9 ....

i am scared to buy fragrance online but so tempted at the same time...

i would like to buy the real fragrance juice but bad comments makes me more resilient about buying.... can you help me make my decision?

spend more $$$$ and get the official fragrance in a good retail store and have my mind clear ? , or pay alot less and get bad or out of date juice ? or even fake...

sorry for my english , i speak french , i am trying to get better!!

Personally never had any problem over the years.

Fragrancenet and theperfumespot are reliable when it comes to legit fragrances. I've bought my Creeds from them as well as Notre Dame Perfumes on Amazon and they were all legitimate.

also, if you're buying Aventus, the fragrance is fairly new so even an 'old' bottle is only going to be so old. GIT is much older, so makes sense some may have slipped through the cracks and someone ends up with a fairly old/dull one.

I would get samples from the company/ counter or someone you trust and then you can always test them against whatever you order online. It's worth it, if you're going to save a lot of money. However, saying that did I receive really old products from Strawberrynet once, also a leaking bottle. It was a pain trying to get a refund. Their currency conversion is also whack...last time I checked it was around 8% more expensive than XE conversions. I never buy from there anymore. I have ordered from Fragrancenet in the past, I never had a problem there (only horrific customs charges and a fairly long wait on the delivery).

Get it online if it's cheaper

If you decide to buy Aventus be aware that 2010 was not a good year for it. If you get one of those I wouldn't even open it, just return it. The "batch" problems seem to have been corrected in 2011. Thankfully it is very easy to tell what year the fragrance was made. Creed's batch numbers look something like this: C42B11N01. The numbers in the 5th and 6th position give you the year (in this case "11" for 2011).

I have to agree with the guys, get it online if you can, those two sites you mentioned are legit.
