Burberry Brit Summer

Just unpackaged this at work and I have to say this seems to be the front runner for best summer/sport release this year! It still smells great after a few hours on my skin and real nice thing is that it's pretty cheap. $62 for a large bottle 100ml. Anyone else gave any opinions yet?

Can't wait to try it. Does it remind you of Brit or completely different ?????

I'd always hoped they'd come out with a summer variant, and like >boomer<, I can't wait to try it! The listed notes seem pleasant enough.

Look forward to trying this one as well. Didn't see it at any of the mall stores today.

I'm such a huge fan of Brit so I'm very curious how they compare!

Definitely can tell it is of the original Brit. Not quite as spicy or deep, and a fresher air to it. I can see this one being a year round frag, which is probably why I like it since I am not a big fan of the light and mild scents. Plus it seems to have some pretty decent longevity.

We also got in the summer flankers for Angel and Alien today. Angel smells very nice, Alien has an aftertaste of cat pee in the top notes, but that goes away Both are very nice.

Is it as powdery as Brit?

Burberry Brit the original is great for summer anyway in my opinion.

Not cloying at all and not too strong like JOOP! Homme or Le Male. It's just sweet and clean.

I hope the projection is better now. Burberry Sport Women is a good stuff. Burberry house is really underrated...

Yep, especially here in England. Burberry never really managed to remove the association it has with chavs.

Not to me, I get more of the woodsy quality in it. I tend to love powdery scents and the original Brit was never really one of my favorites to wear I absolutely love it as a room spray (terrible as that may sound, I tend to like the orig better in the air than on my skin) :}
I just purchased my bottle today and really do like it

This may help a bit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chav
I remember reading somewhere that Burberry is more popular in Asia than it is in England. But just like you I'm not sure if it's true.

We call them something else in America and it's a little racist so I won't define it, but you can see one coming from a mile away and once you hear them speak it's hard not to laugh in their face.
