Cartier Pasha, Van Cleef & Arpels Tsar, and YSL Jazz. I think all 3 share some similarities, especially Tsar and Jazz. Which one do you prefer, and why? I blind bought Jazz recently, but I`m a bit dissapointed because I already own the other two. I thought it would be a more different scent.

Have them all and like them all but prefer Cartier Pasha

I don't see all that similiraties. I do like Tsar; it's an improved Polo Green IMO.

Cartier Pasha is my favourite of the three, followed by Tsar, then Jazz.

I also see Ralph Lauren Safari For Men as being part of the same group.

I haven't tried Pasha so I won't vote but much prefer Jazz to Tsar in their original formulations.

Just bought Tsar and have been sniffing my wrist for about 30 minutes. It went through a ten minute chocolatey phase but now i'd swear i am sniffing Jazz.

I prefer Tsar and own all three. I do see the similarities between Jazz and Tsar though I dont reach for any of them often. In the more extreme heat i prefer Jazz if that makes any sense.

Jazz is certainly louder than Tsar and Jazz wakes up even more in the heat.

Of these three, I personally favor Pasha followed by Jazz.

Look at my name and take a guess as to my choice lol

Pasha for the summer, Tsar for the winter.

Chocolate? Some say they get similarities Jazz but I don't smell it myself.
Just curious though - which version of Tsar have you got?

I read the reviews on here and went for the third version, which sounded to be similar to the original. In the UK we have something called a Terry's Chocolate Orange. Not sure if you have it in Oz. It is an orange shaped chocolate that taste and smells of chocolate and orange. For the first 10-20 minutes, that's what Tsar smelled of. Then it was gone and replnaced by a less loud version of Jazz.

Amazing how different noses perceive scents....

I get manure and fecals from Musc Koublai Khan, while others don't.

You get chocolate from Tsar, which I for the life of god can't detect even remotely - I only get a grassy mossy patchouli vibe from Tsar - nothing in it reminds me of Pasha

Yup. And just to check I was not going mad I have subsequently sprayed Grey Flannel, no chocolate and Chergui, no chocolate, although it does have a sweet gourmandy sort of quality.

There should be a thread to find the best fragrance by which we can all calibrate our noses. There has to be somethign somewhere that smells the same to everyone. Maybe...
