YSL's L'homme, or La Nuit De L'homme?

The title says it all. Obviously these frags are a bit different. La nuit de l'homme is better for night time. Which is your favorite of the two? State your reasons why.

YSL's L'homme
La Nuit is the better of the two imo

if l'homme is a 10(smell), la nuit wud be a 9 + 3-4 hours more longevity, i personally chose la nuit

la nuit de l'homme

La Nuit for me
L'homme. More versatile IMO.
L'homme but the longevity is not very great
post #9 of 45
L'homme. The longevity is fantastic and the scent is so much more enjoyable.

Both !

L'Homme for daytime at the office, lasts for 6-7 hours on me
La Nuit for evening/night time wear, lasts for 8-10 hours on me

L'Homme, It's so versatile, and I get 12 hours longevity.

Nuit

L'Homme has the better and more versatile scent but it is short lived. You can compensate that by spraying more.

La Nuit smells nice from the bottle but it lacks the development I was hoping to experience. Smells synthetic on my skin.

Damn ... Both are my babies. Absolutely love both. But if I could keep one, it would be La nuit.

I like both! but if I had to pick one it would be La Nuitt.. Better longevity and gets me compliments whenever I wear it.. I love it!

I gave away my bottle of L'Homme. It's nice, but boring to me. I have La Nuit De L'Homme and I find it to be more interesting, more intriguing, and more romantic.
Both are great but I would have to go w/ L'homme if I had to pick, just by a hair though!

Do you want interest and compliments from women? Buy La Nuit

If you don't-buy L'Homme
I think L'Homme much better.
I have samples of L'Homme and after several tries, it's definitely not for me. So at first, I was a bit skeptical about his flanker, La Nuit, and didn't rush to try it. But when I sniffed it at the shop, I bought it the next time I went there.
La Nuit is very good juice, however I wouldn't recommend it as a daily basis fragrance, it could be too loud in some situations.

La Nuit for me. Although L'Homme is more versatile, La Nuit is better choice in terms of longevity and its a good evening scent
post #24 of 45
La Nuit. Despite everyone say it's more for the night, I think it's so versatile.
Own both and like both equally. They each have their pros and cons, with L'homme the smell is magnificent IMO, you will like it and others around you will also, that is for a few hours. The longevity/projection is very poor. La Nuit gets tons of compliments and lasts very long but the scent to me is very boring and wouldn't wear it for my own benefit particularly

Well, ive only smelled the opening of l'homme, and I find it simlar to La nuid de l'homme. I however, love the dry down of la nuit. To me its a little earthy.
Go for which ever you prefer, they're both decent frags.

If possible, a small bottle of each might be a good idea.
Another one for La Nuit.
Re-reading all the posts, I can see the L'Homme and La Nuit complement each other. Why not get both, layer them together and be done with it? :-P
post #30 of 45
L'Homme. Of all my fragrances this one has gotten me the most compliments. I've been thru 2 bottles. I use to wear it all the time.

The one I have is actually from 2008 I'm not sure but it smells like it may have become a lil rancid smelling. Its only maybe 10-15 squirts left so I will be sampling this at Macy's to see if mine has turned rancid or if my nose may be a little turned off by it.

When I tried La Nuit I didn't care for it as much.
I dislike both of them equally.
Both are kinda boring to me but La Nuit's the less boring of the two.

l'homme
I'd pick La Nuit but the two girl opinions (my girlfriend and my sister) that I check for every fragrance I try both vastly preferred L'homme.
love both. L'homme is more versatile as mentioned. I sniff the hell out of myself whenever I wear either.

Definitely La Nuit de L'Homme, L'Homme smells like hairspray to me...
Both are amazing. Honestly I cannot pick one over the other. I would say L'homme for daytime and La Nuit for night time.
Why not look for a deal on both? Or buy one 60ml of each instead of the 100ml of just one for a bit more.
I'd get both. Both have certain subtlety, trendiness and finesse which would genuinely stand out, once worn

YSL L'homme. La Nuit is a little too dark for me.
Does the La nuit come in perfume and toilette version. if so which is better in terms or projection and longevity?
