Sorry for the generic answer but I think you should wear what you like whenever you like. I think from what you listed, you can wear any of those in any season

Welcome!

Most scents work year-round, so it's more a matter of taste. Typically people are drawn to fresher materials when it's warm outside: vetivers (like Grey vetiver), citruses (terre d'hermes), or fresh-synthetics, like eau fraiche, or eau d'issey (I dislike this one, so I don't think it's suitable for any season, but that's just my taste).

Warmer materials in the winter, like sandalwood (Egoiste), tobacco (Tobacco vanille). Incense is also usually though of as warm; but Jub XXV is very pure, so it might work in summer's nights as well.

Not a fan of the Creeds so others will comment on them.

All year round

Welcome!
I wouldn't buy (what doesn't mean you shouldn't try) these:
Allure;
L'Eau D'Issey;
Versaces (try The Dreamer).

Yeah man don't even worry about seasons. Well let's see, springs coming up so maybe you want to get your hands on the Creeds, Egoiste, and Issey. Personal opinion- don't bother with the Allures. Platinum Egoiste is a toss up

Creed Green Irish Tweed - all season
Creed Imperial Millesime - spring/summer
Tom Ford Grey Vetiver - none, I am not about to settle for mediocrity when superiority can be had. I'll look elsewhere for my vetiver fragrance.
Chanel Egoïste Platinum - none
Creed Silver Mountain Water - spring/summer/fall
Creed Virgin Island Water - summer
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille - fall/winter/spring
Versace Man Eau Fraiche Versace - spring/summer
Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme - spring/summer
Terre d'Hermès EdP - all-season

Also why are some many people opposed to Chanel Egoïste Platinum and Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme
post #12 of 23
Platinum is nice but rather formal and Issey is pleasant but rather synthetic.

Any other colognes on my list that are considered synthetic in nature?

Chanel Egoiste Platinum is a bad Cool Water, acid, loud, synthetic and far from the wonderful Egoiste.

L'Eau d'Issey is not the fragrance that you're looking for because you're here and want something special. Right ?

Thanks guys this will save me some time. They are both off my list.

I don't like l'eau d'issey because I detest the aquatic/marine note - I find it sharp and swampy. but it's a personal thing. If you like it, there's nothing wrong, though at that point, Cool water, new west and others are probably more complex examples.

Just wanted to add thats quit a list, lots of niche, Its going to be pricey. Are you planning on buying them all? If your new to fragrances, I would recommend buying a few. One for each season would be a great start tbh.
post #21 of 23
Not exactly answering your question but make sure you sample like crazy before making a purchase. There's nothing worse then making a blind buy that you regret

I plant to buy 1 to 2 at a time. I have been into the whole wet shaving thing for a while and I think this is just an extension of that obsession. Damn OCD...

If your aim is 1-2, how about GIT and TdH first? Very versatile frags
