Tried this today..and hated it..smells like Vera Wang Princess Night my boss wears... Very spicy and weird scent. Total pass...and I never pass on a chanel...the original AHS is better this one did absolutely nothing for me... Tragedy

I kind of like it - I rate it 8.5/10

Find it better than the original AHS, but that doesn't say much

Thanks for the warning!

Sounds interesting. Will give it a sniff once I come across it.

Tried it 2 days ago in Sephora. Mediocre fragrance, but a bit better than AHS (which i find it similar to some cheap european deodorants sold in hypermarkets).
AHS Extreme is also way too sweet for summer. I will pass on this one. The only Allure i like is Edition Blanche.

Will give this a try.
Yep, I'll have to try it.
It is not for everyone. I prefer AHS.

Tried it yesterday at Macy's and at first spray I was pretty underwhelmed. But on the drydown, it did get much better. More of an extreme version of the Original Allure and not the Sport version IMHO. I'll likely wind up purchasing this, but need to test it again.

Interesting. Just yesterday I got out my original Allure Homme after not wearing it for a long time and I forgot how much I love it. I never got into the sport versions, but if this is anything like the original, then I'm probably going to like it.

I am excited to try it. Maybe I will swing by Macys tomorrow.
I probably will not like it since I think Allure is just ok, Allure Sport has some weird not that I do not like in the dry down, Allure Sport Cologne is to orangey/citrusy.

The only Allure that I would consider buying is Edition Blanche so hopefully the Extreme will be another one I would like.

It's decent, but the drydown is definitely nice. I wore it for a few days and nights continually, and the built-up base was excellent - very natural, with several woody notes from other fragrances showing up very perceptibly.

I agree - if anything, it shows how nice the original Allure Homme is, and how this is a good - but still lesser - departure from it. This fragrance really falls in the category of "an OK flanker". I definitely like it better than the regular Sport.

I'll say what most of us say about flankers from other houses.....Yawn!!!

The only Allure I like (and own) is the Cologne Sport EDC.

But yes, I will give this one a try next time I'm in Macy's.

I'll be at Macy's tomorrow. I know they will be hawking this on me, so I'll ask for it before they can blurt out "new Chanel sport eau extreme!"
Looks like I'll have to make a trip to see how it is. Thanks for the update.

reformulation from previous lines, to lower the cost of production.

I both bought and sampled it.
Got the 100 ml EDT and 2 10 ml mini splash bottles.

Now that I have worn it for a few days, I will lower my rating to 8/10 - still prefer the original Allure Homme to this by quite a margin........but this flanker is OK for a flanker and certainly little bit more than just OK for a sports flanker IMHO

Don't care much for the Allure line, but this might be incentive to give this a try! I'll be on the lookout, but I won't be getting my hopes up. Thanks for the insight!

Another reason for me to skip Macys...

Sprayed it on my wrist today. The opening I got some orange opening similar to Allure Homme Sport. Once it starts to settle down I get a similarity to JPG Le Male (probably from the mint, tonka, sandalwood mix). Once it drys down it starts to smell like YSL L'Homme (probably from the mix of tonka, pepper, cedar mix).

I can see how some may think it is similar to the original Allure Homme but just a little bit for me. Even though I don't believe it shares any/many notes, I think it also smells similar to Spicebomb.

I don't know if it is worth buying yet but for me imo, it is better than Allure and Allure Sport (I never liked either too much).

I'm mad they made a flanker of a sport flanker I'll still sniff this one out without any expectations though

Yeah that was really quite dumb. Maybe they should have just left out the sport and called it Chanel Allure Extreme or just forget the Extreme (since there really isn't anything extreme about it) and come up with a new name but they could still keep it within the Allure line.

Chanel Allure ___BLANK____

I am trying this today as I got a sample from Nordstroms last night.

It smells like they added a little Le Male and $1 Million to Allure Sport. For that reason it's a total pass for me. If you like those frags give it a try.
I tried this and thought it was ok.....I have no need for another fragrance like this in my collection.....I do not like flankers of flankers.....Gary

I actually love this for the summer. It opens up like AHS but then turns a little darker. Like a mix between AHS and AH... It's a pretty masculine summer fragrance. My girl liked it.
