How much money do you spent per month on fragrances?
And how many scents do you buy per month/year?

Is there any limit you set for yourselves?

It varies and I never set any limits - but a guess would be 10-12 fragrances/month. Cost around $1000.

Some of us have deep pockets, and some do not. And even if you don't have a lot of money (relatively speaking) you might still spend a huge portion of it on fragrances.

I used to have a colleague who happily spent hundreds and thousands on computers and music (CDs, concerts and all kinds of crap), but was outraged at the cost of clothes at H&M and similar places...

hednic, i remember reading a post where u said u bought vanille galante, how are u liking it?

Back to the question, it depends, like this month I bought 2 fragrances and a ton of samples, some other months i wont buy anything, other months it can be 5, really depends.

I hardly ever set myself any limits, nor do I have a planned budget designed solely for scent purchases, but my usual trick is to simply have enough money at hand in my bank accounts, on my debit cards or in cash, so that I can indulge my passion almost every time I test a scent I might like

Yes, I purchased this as soon as Hermes had it in its boutique. I personally like it, but I seem to remember that the general consensus was either lukewarm or people disliked it. It was going to be part of my collection in any case as I had to maintain the integrity of the Hermesessence line in my collection which now numbers 10.

I got my tax refund this month so it was a little out of the ordinary, but I know I spent over $1000...eek best not to think about it too hard.

Also, vanille galante is one of my favorites I've tried from the hermessense line, but that's only out of 6 of them.

I'm a binge fragrance buyer. Right now I'm in a buying streak, but doing a discount run because I'm kind of limited on funds at the moment. i might turn around and spend nothing for a few months to save for a really big splash purchase. I think the most I've ever spent in a 30 day period was in the neighborhood of $1,500 a few years ago when I bought a good number of Creeds and discontinued classics like Nobile and GBH VIP Special Reserve.

I don't spend as much as I used to, since I own everything I want right now (including back-ups and back-ups of back-ups of everything that is limited edition or in danger of being discontinued in my collection). But I do buy samples all of the time, especially of new stuff that comes out so I would estimate my spending per month amounts to something on the order of 50-60 dollars. But as recently as a year or so ago, it was several hundred dollars a month, because most of my favorites are niche.
