Good morning folks,

The weather is most beautiful here and I'm moving to my deck chair now letting breathe my skin and catching a bit of suntan.
SotD is Sous le Vent or should I say Parure Extrait as all I smell now is this after making a sample vial and having a bit of a spill over my fingers.
Anyway, I will apply more Sous le Vent during the day as I want to see how that naughty, indolic side is faring in the sun. Plus I think it will go nicely with my Daiquiri.

Cheers all and to a great weekend!

Beautiful morning here too - wall to wall sunshine. Time to give that lawn a
first cut I fear!
I am wearing Yves Rocher's Un Jour Se Leve and enjoying that strange rhubarb
note along with LOTV.

Since we're talking weather - it is horrible here in London. Grey, drizzling, urgh.

Scent-wise, I'm following on from Shades' and Jon's choice last night, by wearing Cuir Mauresque. Which, incidentally, is the only perfume I have ever been complimented on.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Good morning everyone...sunny and warm here: time for Givenchy III EDT

Great day here in Italy, after super shaving......and I'm loving this....

Everybody is talking weather: get this, we beat the all-time record yesterday, with +27C (83F) for mid-March. It was nice and breezy too, only I put 12 hours of toil into the family budget, and of course it was hot as h*ll at the restaurant where I played a French pastry girl -- or should I say Irish? -- I also half-melted half-way through -- with:
1) Bailey's 7-layer Honey Cake;
2) Hamantaschen with Poppyseed filling dusted with confectioner's sugar;
3) Chocolate cupcakes with Creme de Menthe whipped topping;
4) Key Lime bars (mine were Persian limes though);
5) whatever batter was left over from the cupcakes, I baked as a sheet cake, to be decorated with green sprinkles and cherries.

Happy St.Patrick's Day to those who celebrate! And happy Birthday to my friend Warum who is on the road.

Will clean up the yard early today, sticks and dead leaves, daffodils are springing up spryly. Have to prepare it for Easter Bunny.

Garner James Orange Cologne, it is so wonderful.
Metallica Nothing Else Matters mood.

Have a nice weekend.

Hi everyone. As usual sunny and cloudless over here. Temps in the mid 20s. Soon to be in the mid 40s . Celcius of course.

I just had 4 espressos! Heart racing!!!
Scent introduced me to this coffee connosiuer cafe called RAW Coffee Dubai that is an actual coffee shop.
They roast thier own beans (scent and i took a tour of the place last week too).
I had a double espresso of single origin Ethiopian beans. And then a double espresso of thier Barista Championship winning blend.
The former was tart and and sharp whist the former was a but more mellow with an bold after taste. Speechless....I need to buy a proper espresso machine!!

Larimar, enjoy those drinks

Gandhajala, it'll shine soon .

Twolf, enjoy the vitamin D!

The Virginia spring blooms around me. Early. Scary warm here. In honor of all the blooms thrusting up to the sun a bit too soon--cheeky little things--I am wearing vintage Joy this morning on left wrist and Fracas on the right.

In honor of St. Patrick's day, I might add a bit of something sharp and GREEN before I go out for some lunch and thrift shop hopping.

And in honor of the flowers shooting up to the light, here is a photo I took yesterday just outside GATLINBURG, TN in the Great Smokey Mountains:

Breezing through ... again ... wearing Mitsouko and my mason gloves. Probably won't sit down at the desk again until rain forces me inside.

Gorgeous day here, too! Sunny, warm and breezy with bright blue skies and puffy white clouds, perfect weather for going to the zoo, which is what we'll be doing a little later ...after much sustenance.

I'm surprised and delighted to find that I'm scent-twins with alfarom this morning in Givenchy III, vintage-70s edt. Y'all have a great day!

That's a great photo KarmaLee ...lush and earthy, but cheerful and bright! Thanks for sharing it.

Good Saturday morning, everyone! It's beautiful weather here, too--it's already 60*F and sunny, sunny, sunny. I'm trying to wear as much of my collection as possible this year, so I'm wearing Alien Le Gout de Parfum right now--it's like radioactive dryer sheets. I like it.

Wishing everyone a warm and sunny like mine!

Happy St Patrick's Day! I'm wearing Cuir de Lancome today. The hawthorn note always reminds me of Spring. We had to turn the air conditioner on yesterday because of the warm weather!

Sending happy birthday wishes to warum

An Irish blessing in honor of today:
May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks,
May your heart be as light as a song,
May each day bring you bright, happy hours,
That stay with you all the year long.

Hi, gang! Happy Birthday, Warum! Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone! Never been too sure if I'm allowed to celebrate this holiday, my people were the ones who were run off from Ireland at that time! Fun day, nevertheless!

Jean Couturier Coriandre today.

Good evening everyone. I'vve been wearing Terre d'Hermes edt today.

Tested JPG Kokoreko and quite like it.

Got home to find a little box from Paris urging me to open it. It contained a 1ml sample of Serge Lutens' Eau Froide. I haven't tried it yet.

Good evening all Defenitely not hot nor sunny here....When I walked to work this morning it "snowed cats and dogs ". I kept getting the snow in my eyes and had a thick layer of snow on me when I finally arrived at work. By accident I sticked to the St. Patrick spirit today by wearing L'ombre dans l'eau as my sotd ( a very green scent) Now after a nap and some dinner I'll hit the shower, dress up and then go to a birthdayparty. Think I'll go for Bois des iles. Have a great saturday all and Warum : HAPPy BIRTHDAY !!
Good Evening,

Happy Birthday to Warum! I wonder if you received any perfume related gifts ?
Have fun tonight, ineespenes.

I'm wearing l'heure bleue (older extrait) tonight. I find it possesses such rare beauty and charms as to be positively otherworldly.

Take care, all.

Mmmmh, you smell divine! In fact, I wasn't far from twinning myself with you, my friend

I went for something 'naughty' instead and I couldn't have made a better choice for tonight - Serge's best (IMO) - Rose de Nuit.

Happy Birthday, Warum!

Enjoy your evening!

It is a drop-dead gorgeous day here too, about 80f and sunny and breezy, so nice.

Trying Smell Bent's Musk. Not sure, i do love his musks in Horny Little Devil and She Wolf but this one is a little sweet in a way that is off-putting to me. But will wait awhile and layer on some Mure Et Musc Extreme as the sweet may be very lovely under that.

And yes very happy birthday to Warum, and happy St. Patrick's day too.

Belated Happy Birthday to our lovely friends *dora* and wordbird, and a timely Happy Birthday to Warum. Best to you all and Many Happy Returns, or to borrow Dr G's lovely expression... Many Fragrant Returns.

A belated welcome Mary. My what a lovely day.

Wales won the Six Nations (Mr Ali is Welsh)
Sunny but cold
Mr Ali took his Mum and I for a leisurely alcoholic lunch near Mum in Laws sheltered housing complex. Wonderful Italian food and even Mum in Law had three courses. A very welcome early Mothers Day treat as he's on a 14hr shift tomorrow

I wore vintage Diorella (thank you OVincze) and Mum in Law wore her 80s vintage L'Air du Temps which she's had from new and only wears on very special occasions. Mr Ali wore Prada Infusion PH

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Well, on the bright side, I had a nice flight back to the US...on the not-so-nice side, my ticket said Depart: Paris Arrive: Newark...not pleased to be back in New York, except to see my cats. Much colder here than Paris, but it was cloudy there leaving, and it was sunny arriving here...the Jicky bee bottle arrived in flawless condition. I put on some French Can Can, and am getting into bed...
Nice painting there, Haunani.

Wearing Ambre by Molinard. Nice relaxed, cozy scent. Perfect for this lazy day I've spent, doing some light shopping and eating dinner by myself at my favorite restaurant.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Welcome home, Fleurine! Get some sleep.

I'm wearing EL Azurée this evening. I am so enjoying getting to know this fragrance. This evening the drydown is smelling of sun warmed sweet/bitter resiny saps and the leather smells faintly of vellum and the sun is hot and directly overhead. I can't really identify what I'm smelling, I just get these mental images. Unfortunately, my husband hates this. I think it's brilliant.

Welcome home, Fleurine! I'm sure I'd be reluctant to leave Paris too....

You UKers, seem like some of you are having nice time with their mums. Happy Mothers' Day weekend to you.

E., BV was very very good on me this past Thursday, I think we initially tested it in the wrong season. (if it were still foul on me I would say you know what "grows on me, like a fungus". I am getting older and more predictable). I will have to get a bottle, only one retailer, right?

*D* -- yes, house chores have never killed anyone, but why take chances? I am not.

30R's L'AP Premiere Figuier on me this evening. (Billy Joel We Were All In This Together).
