Acier Aluminum

How God damn good is this?! Perfect for fall. Lots been said already about this apparent banana note. On my skin, it smells much like the peach in Mitsouko with a little melon. This banana accord is quite possibly a combination of the above and some vanilla and cinnamon. I'm ready for my fake-fur coat, Kashmir scarf and my AA.

This fragrance has the vibe of the seventies about it with its bannana like accord. This fragrance is perfect for that character Dirk Diggler from that film Boogie Nights. lol......

Absolutely spot on Jack. Boogie Nights complete with wide-collared shirts and ruffles. I'm really digging the ambergris as well.

Like this scent as well.
I can see the Boogie Nights comparisons but I don't think it that out of style. Would wear it, probably wouldn't buy it though

Love it. Definitely get the '70s porn star vibe. So strong, sweet, and outrageous by most modern standards. So glad it's in my wardrobe.

I'm happy with my 10ml decant. That's enough.
I have a 10ml decant, and while I like it, 10 ml is probably all I would ever wear of it. Spot on with Boogie Nights, I'm going to have to try that next time I watch that.

I absolutely love this fragrance and is near the top of Creed's selection IMO.

I do think this is full bottle worthy.
I like it. It is one of the gray caps that I like the most.
I enjoy this a lot, but I don't experience it the same way lots of others do. I get the '70s vibe, but to me it's just a classic fruity chypre. I don't get a porn star vibe.

I just purchased a bottle of this masterpiece to add to my Creed collection. I had a sample 10ml and I think the dry down on this is fantastic, and of masterpiece quality, Powdery, definately wonderfully unique, and not like anything else you'll find commercial. I hope I get a good batch.

I have a sample will give it a try
It is a REALLY unique fragrance and I can't think of anything that smells like it. I prefer other Creeds to it though.

I absolutely love this frag, but I feel embarrassed to say I have never gotten the banana accord everyone talks about, I have tried several times, but just can't smell it. None the less it is one of my favorites

It is more of an artificial banana smell, like a banana Popsicle.

Out of the bottle, and what this fragrance delivers 20 minutes later are definately 2 different scents. You are probably rating this what it smells like before spraying. Try it again sometime. definately a powder scent.

At the time of its creation and still to this day, Acier Aluminum proves to be a unique and avant garde fragrance. Certainly worthy of its gray cap, enjoy this premier, carnal scent !!!

One of the few Creed that I thoroughly enjoy.

Love AA in concept, but hated how it wore on my skin.. I definitely understand the appeal, though, and just how remarkably unique it is. It's hard to fathom this quirky number is going to be discontinued with all the other Creed grey cap EdT's including REL, Epicea, etc.
Has there been a thread indicating for AA is going to be discontinued?

Not sure. But it's kind of clear by how they've been treating them that Creed is going to discontinue most of, if not all of its grey cap Creeds. They recently discontinued REL. AA, Orange Spice, BdG, are inevitably on the chopping block too, unless they significantly outsell the ones that have already been dismissed.

I picked up a 10ml free while at Saks in NY three months ago. I just finished it and I purchased a bottle at Neiman Marcus today back here in Atlanta. I enjoy this fragrance very much and was wondering what batch you received. Mine is batch #C1010G01. The box looks like it was handled a bit being that it was the last one around the luxury stores, that is not my concern. I'm just wondering what batch differences there are, I know mine is a 2010 by the second 10 in the batch #.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,

C

Go for it! Get a 10ml it's enough to sway your decision. Don't believe the negative hype about urinals and piss. It's a darker juice so it's a bit heavy. It blends well th my skin, the key is to spray it away don't concentrate the nozzle too close to the skin. It's a bit sweet at first, you have to acquire the nose for it. AA turns quickly into the beginning of the base of ambergris and vanilla. The sweetness is still there while the base fully developes and constantly evolves into pleasantly masculine fragrance. Longevity on me is 8-10 hours with 5 sprays, 1 behind each ear and neck, one on chest and 1 one half only sprays on each wrist.
This is being discontinued from what I gather and felt the need to keep an open mind about it. Definitely a pleasant surprise. I own several Creed fragrances and one is Original Santal, another sleeper.
Enjoy your quest, it certainly is fun!

Very disheartening developments.
