Some of their cover are classics and some have intriguing legends. The White Album cover was also a revolution.
My preferred from them:

Love this Boris & Merzbow - Sun Baked Snow Cave, on the actual album all the blue colour has a slight metallic sheen on it.

Nice cover by P5. The funny part is that the picture is taken in Milan and, more specifically, in a zone called "I Navigli".

My fave album cover of all time is Madonna's Erotica
... no competition whatsoever.

Other fierce covers include:

Le Grand Duc, here's a tribute to Madonna and this cover (I like it either); the album is called Ciccone Youth:

The Marilyn Manson's cover you posted was very polemical by the time the album was launched. It's also a good one.

I like the stuff that "Pfadfinderei" produces. Recent example:

Yeah. As I understand, some American supermarkets refused to sell the record,
with his 'breasts' showing. So, the record company added the title of the album.
Originally no words should have been present on the cover.
I do believe the title is lacking on all covers, except the ones sold in the States.

Censure is so questionable IMO! Here I heard people telling Manson had changed his gender and removed his last rib of each side to practice "some stuff" on his own body.
I think Jane's Addiction's covers were all censored then.

^^^ Hah, funny! The covers of the EPs from this album are as beautiful as this. I'll post them later.
My last wallpaper was Ummagumma's cover.

Hole- Live Through This:

In the booklet there's a beatiful Courtney Love's picture from when she was a child. Here's part of the picture (it is the whole body in the album, with she crossing her feet over a stony floor). As you can see she was already grunge:

An Honour for me to see one of my favourite album post here. Try, try, try was one of the most romantic video clip I'd ever seen.

Not the best, not too beautiful, not a classic at all... but I like it:

Teerose, this A Perfect Circle's cover is one of my favorites. I don't remember the booklet (I had/have it, not sure).
The RHCP's seems like Dali's paintings.

Iconic images:

Bobby Bland - Two Steps from the Blues

Miles Davis - At Newport

Shorty Rogers - Chances Are It Swings

I love these old LP-covers. Certainly boring in comparison, but soothing, peaceful and quiet to me. Of course, the recording itself is one finest hour of pianism in the 20th century; highly recommendable.
