A Strong Raspberry Note

Morning all...

Well I got my honey fix thanks to some great recommendations from you guys so I have one more fix to fill. Raspberry.

I have Tuscan Leather but don't get the raspberry in it at all which is a shame. I guess I'm looking for a more prominent raspberry with a more sweet background rather than smokey.

Are there any suggestions from the Basenotes community that could help out...

Many thanks for your time

Definitely Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle. It is primarily a rose and patchouli combo scent, but there is a prominent raspberry supporting note that lasts well into the scent's development that holds it all together and works perfectly with the rose in particular.

Une Rose Vermeille by Tauer has a prominent, sweet raspberry note.

24 Gold has a very strong, sweet raspberry note. Not my thing but worth checking out.

La Voile Rouge by J.A. has a raspberry note.

Yes! Too bad it's so pricey. Still, very very worth it.

Mark Birley Charles Street - It's basically Tuscan leather with the raspberry note amped up and the leather dialled back.

I know I would probably like all of these frags, but the notion of smelling like a raspberry seems comical to me.

I have no idea why

Nice suggestions!

For some strange reason, I too want a scent that is raspberry prominent. Perhaps with other accords. Portrait of a Lady and Une Rose Vermeille both sound very interesting and beautiful!

I have read that MPG Fraicheur Muskissime, Keiko Mecheri Wild Berries, and TDC Sublime Balkiss all have prominent raspberry notes.

+1 for 24 Gold.

Not expensive either.

l've got to admit, "prominent raspberry" does sound funny.

I have heard the same. Like a rasberry pastry.

Insolence by Guerlain !

Diesel Fuel for Life. Personally I didn't care too much for this fragrance but it's not bad.

24 Gold has a fantastic raspberry note in it. It's almost like a raspberry tart. It also blends in really well with the rich amber in the base. You can go on Ebay and get a 3.4 oz tester for $27.00 shipped and a free t-shirt with your purchase.

Another vote for 24 gold here, will be onto my 2nd bottle soon, such a great scent for the price

A raspberry scent I dig is Forbidden Euphoria, a nice, iced raspberry.

if new haarlem is niche quality, then 24 gold is as well

+1 as it's very much like Tuscan Leather.

Thanks for all the great ideas - I love my Noel au Balcon so Delicious Closet Queen sounds tempting, but then so many 24 Gold suggestions....

As always - many thanks for your thoughts...

24 Gold, and its raspberry note, is nice but I did find it too sweet and girlie in the end.
It certainly is very sweet.
You don't need to be too heavy-handed with this one!

Charles Street is a great raspberry scent.

Nobody mentioned it already, but it fits in all the requirements: Diesel Fuel For Life (for Men)
