Is my Antonio Puig Quorum a fake?

Hey Everyone,

Today I received my Antonio Puig Quorum, that I'd ordered from the internet. I hadn't tried it before, but purchased it blindly using the reviews on basenotes. Given that I love late 70's - early 80's fragrances, I knew that at worst, I wouldn't hate it.

In any case, when I applied it for the first time, it smelled like a large part of it was generic eau de cologne. I did sense a slight similarity to Ralph Lauren Polo, among other things, but prominently eau de cologne. Is this normal? Or have I been sold an adulterated bottle of Quorum?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Do you get a eau de cologne note as well, at least to begin with?

Thanks!!

what site did you buy it from?

Unlikely since I don't believe its popularity would warrant it being faked, but not sure.

It's not fake. It's too cheap a cologne to make a profit from counterfeiting.

If you tell me it smells like Polo, then it's probably not a fake. Quorum smells like a Spanish twist on Polo.
