Buy from Amazon or Sephora?

I am currently trying to buy the following

Amazon prices -

1 Million EDT - 3.4 oz - $70
Burberry Touch EDT - 3.3 oz - $45
Dior Fahrenheit 32 EDT - 3.4 oz- $59.99
YSl la nuit EDT - 3.3 oz - $50

Sephora prices -

1 Million EDT - 3.4 oz - $75
Burberry Touch EDT - 3.3 oz - $73
Dior Fahrenheit 32 EDT - 3.4 oz- $76
YSl la nuit EDT - 3.3 oz - $77

plus you take off 15%

the ones from are not sold by amazon but through other 3rd party, should I not buy them then. Coz today is the last day for Sephora 15% off, the only reason for not buying from Sephora is the price, but i don't want to compromise on the quality and get a fake.

What should I do?

You could split the order if you don't like buying from discounters:

1 Million and Burberry Touch from Amazon with free shipping (since their prices are lower than Sephora's for these two.)
Dior Fahrenheit and YSL La Nuit de l'Homme from Sephora with 15% off and free shipping.


Fahrenheit 32 ships free from Perfumania; their feedback score on Amazon is 95%.

YSL La Nuit ships free from Discount Perfumes. I didn't find threads discussing Discount Perfumes but they seem to have high ratings on Amazon. If in doubt, you could start a thread asking if anyone has opinions on this seller, posting the thread on the following forum:

Actually since Sephora has the 15% off, there is no benefit in splitting the order as the price of the first two will be the same from Amazon or Sephora.

So, if you don't like discounters, buy from Sephora.

There are a lot of fakes on amazon. If you trust it though, I'm sure you'll get great deals

Amazon is a great place to buy frag from but if the price is the same on sephora then might as well buy from there.

Make sure that you check the sellers feedback if you decide to go with Amazon...there seem to be a lot of fakes there, hence the better prices. Personally, I'd go with Sephora if authenticity is a concern (and with 1 Million it should be).

First post! I am new to this online deal shopping and I too feel for you. How to never pay full price and never get screwed... I ended up buying a used bottle on Ebay from someone who seemed legit. If you are concerned, contact the vendor at Amazon and ask what they will do if you end up getting a fake. If it doesn't feel right or the price is too tempting you are putting yourself at risk but Amazon should offer you some protection, I hope. I am still awaiting my first bottle of Chanel No. 5 from Ebay... Amazon is awash in Chinese fakes.
