Recommendation from my list

Hi everyone, this is my first post hope this is right.
I finished my bottle of HM, which I loved and need help on picking a new one.
I have a list of colognes that I want to try on and possibly perchase but I don't know which ones are
actually worth buying since there are so many in my list. Maybe one for warm weather and one for cold weather.
Also, feel free to recommend other colognes if you don't like any of them. Btw I'm currently attending highschool so
I don't want something that's offensive.
List:
YSL LIVE JAZZ-
JOOP! JUMP (what is this like??)
AZZARO CHROME
VERSACE POUR HOMME (heard this is similar to AHS??)
ALLURE HOMME SPORT (really liked the drydown)
ALLURE EDITION BLANCHE
ROCHAS MAN
YSL L'HOMME
YSL LA NUIT
LE MALE(actually liked it..)

Allure edition blanche

YSL L'homme, year round. It's safe, yet different than your average ADG/Le Male/Curve

Live Jazz and Rochas Man are the only two from your list that I can recommend.

YSL LIVE JAZZ - good all-season scent
ROCHAS MAN - good, mocha cafe gourmand
LE MALE
- get it because you like it

YSL Live Jazz is great, all occasion sort of scent, and is on the cheaper side
Rochas Man is very good, but make sure you like it all the way through before buying as it seems to create mixed opinions
I like Azzaro Chrome too, but it isn't as interesting as some of the others on the list

If you like Le Male then get it, everyone's nose is different, and you will be the one smelling it most of the time

Props for getting involved early, I wish I though about the way I smelt while I was in highschool!

warm weather: allure homme sport, edition Blanche
cold/cooler weather: Rochas Man, La Nuitt

Although YSL Lhomme is very versatile

Thanks guys!
Just one more question. What is Live Jazz like?
Sweet? Aquatic? Herbal?

Welcome to BN

I don't mean to come off as snobby or rude, but I don't really like anything from your list and think you could do much better.. especially considering retail price points, which is a factor for any student to consider. Might I suggest Prada Amber Pour Homme (and Amber PH Intense), Dior Homme and/or Dior Homme Intense, and seeking out some of the Hermes offerings? I'm not sure where you are geographically, but Hermes is carried by many Sephora locations. Best of luck!

I heard Le Male is a sausage magnet? Not sure if I would want that.
LOL

I'm also in highschool and own about half of your list. For compliment factor I'd go with Allure homme sport, Allure edition blanche, La Nuit, and L'homme

Live Jazz

YSL L'Homme
Rochas Man
Edition Blanche

Live Jazz is over hyped imo. It is definitely a herbal mint. I know it gets a lot of love here on basenotes. Its not bad at all, just not what its hyped up to be.

Thanks again!
You guys have been very helpful.
I should definitely try L'homme, Live Jazz, and Rochas man.

You asked about Joop Jump: well it smells like a watered down version of C. Herrera 212 VIP for Men. Its good enough for spring and a late summer, but too sweet for really warm weather. You can get bored of it pretty fast though. Instead of this i would rather go for a fruity fragrance, like Diesel Fuel for life.

L'Homme is terrible on my skin, about 1.5 hours longevity with almost zero projection. Its a safe scent though, a bit too sweet for warm weather.
Live Jazz is overhyped. Too herbal for my liking. I used it as an air refresher in the room.
Rochas Man can get boring extremely fast. Overhyped as well.
Versace pour homme is somewhat close to AHS, but i actually prefer it before the Chanel. It has lower longevity & projection than AHS.

I would go with Edition Blanche for the warm weather (test it before though; some people complain about projection, but i dont have this issue). you should try some soapy scent too for warm weather, like Prada Amber or Mugler Cologne.
For cold weather, La Nuit is a good option; you can also try Lancome Hypnose Homme, Dior Homme Intense or Givenchy Play Intense.
